But these deer are NOT FREE TO USE.

I have seen several people STEAL these from people's signatures and EDIT them for their own deer. Then have the gall to post them where everyone can see! D:

1) Do not use these without permission.
2) The ways you can earn/get a siggy are simple. You can either donate $1 to the endless forest, earn your "cute badge picture" in the lightbringers, art trades, or win a silly contest that I may post one day, completely at random.
3) IF YOU SEE A SIGGY DEER, and it doesn't look like I drew it (here's two examples)

(pictos have been removed to help keep the identities secret)
PLEASE REPORT IT TO ME.
I don't know if maybe it's just not as obvious to you guys as it is to me, but those siggy deer were stolen, and edited, and there's a clear clash of style in them.

Any siggy deer that I make, will be posted on the pictures page for everyone to see...
Just wanted to make this PERFECTLY CLEAR, since the picture above, is like the 4th or 5th stolen siggy deer that I have seen. ):

Just don't go blatantly accusing someone of stealing them. Some people who have edited didn't know they weren't free to use, so if you see them stolen, be sure to let them know politely.

Well, if they take an image that is in someone else's siggy, edit it, and paste it into their own siggy, that's stealing. Period, the end. ):
Claiming ignorance does not change the fact that they went through the trouble of seeing something they liked, and taking it for their own use, without asking.

I have let these people know, I'm just making this post so that hopefully it can stop happening quite so often.

I mean, if I just ran around copying pictures out of people's siggies and claiming ignorance, people would probably get on my butt about it. It should be obvious enough, they you aren't supposed to copy a picture that belongs to someone else and make it your own.

If they see an image in 20 people's signatures that are clearly made from the same template, they might think that anyone can get one.
Try to see it from all sides.
I'm just saying to stay civil about it, and let them know politely to avoid unneeded fighting.

I agree with Pegasicorn. I have seen those pictures in peoples signatures all over the site and I did not know that it was you who had drawn those pictures. Maybe they just didn't know either. I understand your unhappiness, I wouldn't want them to steal my art either, but it's important to look at a situation from all angles.
I too agree that if those people have been spoken to then you shouldn't humilate them and have people start saying bad things. I know one of those deer and he isn't a bad person. It was probably just a misunderstanding

I'm not humiliating anyone. These are examples of obvious editing that wasn't done by me, so that if someone sees one, they might be able to recognize that it's not my work, and let me know.

But it doesn't matter that names aren't included. The pictos are still on them, which is enough. I easily recognize both. Just please remove them. You can still get your message across without examples.
EDIT: Well, appears I wasn't fast enough to post this. Removing the pictos I guess is enough. Thank you for doing at least that. =]
