Hm, there's a tiny bit on deer in this.
I also suggest looking at lots of photographs and referencing off of them until you get the hang of the anatomy. Look for characteristic features and simplify the bodies into shapes like circles and rectangles. Hope this helps!

Depending on the selection they have, you might be able to find 'How to draw animal' books at your public library, which are also really really helpful!
