I am sick of this rain! It's cold, it weighs me down and just will not let me get off of the ground! Oh, but the way those strangers are staring at me, they must have noticed the way it makes my feathers glisten and shine so in the light... Maybe this weather is not so bad after all.

Sounds sort of like Myrtle. Sweet and slightly nasal in tone. Speaks in an elegant and animated manner with no particular accent. Capable of coos and screeches.

Winged and fully feathered frame. Sunlit snowy hues. Shiny blood-red underside and flight feather tips. Hollow bones to accommodate flight. Sternum chest adaptation. Lithe and frail mass. Lengthy yet sparsely feathered tail and withers. Peach lips and inner ears. A single talon on each wing. Scarlet irises. Preening teeth. Long and slender nose. Elongated back dewclaws. Soft as a dove.
Mannerism
Smiles warmly. Extremely graceful and playfully balletic movements. Avian gestures. Wings are kept in a swan-like manner whenever not in flight. Limited maneuverability whilst airborne. Capable of gaping disturbingly widely.

Genesis
The Harpy first descended when the endless forest was still young, soon getting into trouble with the Twin Gods after slaying one of their children, as they sought to take her life in return. She then happened upon the God of death, who promised her new life if she agreed to keep reaping for him. Disguised as a mere peryton, she has been doing his bidding and kept hidden away on top of the old oak ever since, until now.
