Personally, I think pixel looks too rough being used with softer brushes.
Especially black, sketchy pixel.
This is just my opinion though, of course.
Perhaps if the edges were cleaned up and thinned out, it would be easy on the soft brush strokes.
I'd like to see more done with the landscape. Rocks, lumps, earth's (im)perfections.
Your swan and your ram both have pretty good form, though.
They aren't just a blob of color on canvas with legs; I can tell distinctly which animal is which.
I like the use of texture / fur, and that you didn't put hair on the swan and feathers on the ram.
You also used light being reflected in the water.
That's really good, now just add something like ripples or the swan's reflection. (:
Really great job. I hope this comment was good enough for you.
All I can offer is to keep going how you are going, pic out parts that bother you, look at photos or the real thing as reference and try and get the essence of what you are seeing. Look at others art too. :3 But your art is good now you show understanding of composition and color. Keep it up :3

I'm telling you. That dead tree really looks alive LOL
So good to see you finished the picture <3 It turned out lovely! Sorry I had to leave so quickly, and your swan picture is lovely as well!
I fell pretty good about it. I like it. I can just imagine a swan lazily swimming about or a ram sleeping in the snow while another one watches the Aurora Borealis.
I don't have constructive
