Dx; Okay, so no picture right now, but a question I hope to have quickly resolved.

I'm in the forest right now, fully connected with forest detail on its highest setting, and I can't see the rain that's evidently there. Is there a trick or a special setting that I'm missing?

(I'll delete this right after it's answered, promise.)

If you have taken the "connect automatically" thing away, it might have caused your problem. c8

I'm not sure either. I had the same problem with the dandelions the other day. Did you try to exit the game and restart it?

The rain appeared when

The rain appeared when Michael came into the forest.
It did this yesterday too, so I'm guessing he made it rain, ran inside and dropped a few cages and such, and then left to turn the rain off again.
From what I've seen in the forest before, sometimes the weather will change when a god enters the forest. Only SOMETIMES though, because I don't think they entered when it was snowing last time.
