Back to the beginning but not so long ago. Anothers begining
Born of strength was I
Made of purity, power, and pride
Made when no others could be made.
My destiny chosen
My eyes coloured rosen
I am the saviour of all
I shall be the purser of evil.
The great and the good
I shall be a living god.
My mother birthed me on a sun lit day in a great field of grass. She was made to stand as all deer should. My father told me of her weakness and how his guards held her up. How she cried with joy he said at my birth. I was born pure white a mark of my purity. I was taken from my mother who was left laid still in the grass. I was carried in the mouth of a pale stag across the grass to a row of hinds, My new eyes near blinded by the light unable to focus on the things around me. The hinds washed my damp frame with rough tongues and showed me how to feed from each and everyone of them. I was pushed from one to the other. Once fed I felt full and content the hinds stood to attention. Waiting. I felt the ground under my small hooves tremble and looked around. I found myself staring up to a face of a great white god. His magnificent, rack like a golden crown. The light seemed too radiant from him. There was a strange smell about him, yet not unpleasant to my young nose, sweet, sticky like wild flowers. I knew him in an instant. Father.
The next few months I was shared between the hinds. My legs grew strong fast for i was taught to stand tall and only lay down to rest when most needed. “A noble master must be strong and carry himself properly at all times not matter what age he is” The hinds would say to me. My father only came to inspect me a few times. He would walk around me and push at me. On occasion I was kicked and roared at to see how i responded. I stood still as told to by the hinds before the first inspection, I held back the tears and braced my frame. I was to be a Master, I would show my father how great I would be.
I few months pasted and winter came. The cold and wet offended me, But unlike other deer I lived in some contentment. The hinds formed a shelter around me and I stayed snug and warm surrounded by their bodies. I was taught, of the evil black shadow deer who haunted the woods and stole the soals of fawns. How piles of fawns bodies had been found at their boundaries. I was taught of my destiny. My future to destroy them all and bring peace to the land. I drank it all in. hanging on to every word, Shuddering with pleasure as tales of my fathers powerful, victorious battles were related to me.
I did not see any stags during this time. I was told this was because they had lost their crowns and felt unworthy. Yet my father still had his. A hind explained that it was due to his power and purity. He seemed angrier now and was often covered with blood making his once white fur a light pink shade.
One morning I was taken in to a near by wood by my birth mother, She had appeared to me that morning and beckoned me to follow her. She was always cut and bruised. I believed her to be a evil creature to be given so many beating, Yet something made me follow her. We travelled deep in to the woods, new sights, sounds and smells filled the air. We entered an area need a stream and found a ground of hinds with their fawns. The group were singing and dancing around a small flower. Mother explained they were celebrating the arrival of spring. She asked if I wished to join the group?
My heart hardened. Father said mother was weak and believed in foolish things. He told me not to be drawn in to such stupidity to be a Master and rise above such demining things. I sorted, then without pause I stepped through the group. I looked at the pathetic flower already weakened by the frost. I raised my feet and crushed it. I mashed it to a pulp and felt a joy through me as i did. I would do this to anything that stood in my way. Including the filthy black deer that poisoned the land.
