"H-heeeh..!"
16.10.2015
Felt very energetic this morning. Actually, for the first time in a long while felt good, happy.
Burnt some of his overwhelming energy to prancing around, being social to strangers and styling one certain nameless. Got surprised when a delicious looking bunny turned into a full grown deer right in front of his eyes. Still much to see and learn about the forest, it seems.
Happened & info:
-Wound on his hind has healed and left a small scar which shows as a small bump on his otherwise smooth appearance.
-Has pretty much learned the ways of the forest. Knows how to move around and where to find what he needs.
-Misses home and the herd/pack he left behind. But the homesickness is fading and he has started enjoying his life here as well.
Name: Marrok
Gender: Male
Age: Young adult (18-19 in human years)
Species: A mix of an antelope and probably a white tail deer
Size: 31 in Apel's size chart
Diet: Omnivore
Scent: Sand dust, dry hay
Speaks in: "#fad788"
Forest looks: Kabuki/skull mask, crying idol/monarch pelt, swan antlers
Cocky :: Young :: trustworthy :: suspicious :: curious :: sleek :: serious :: observant :: careless :: competitive :: friendly :: moodswings :: quiet :: spontaneous :: confident
-Marrok is a young buck who is still learning how the world works and about himself. He may be arrogant sometimes, thinking he knows the best and doesn't enjoy being bossed around too much.
-He is relatively polite and in normal circumstances will greet the strangers. His attention span isn't very long and if the stranger isn't interesting enough to him, he might soon lose interest and find a way to leave the company.
-May lose his temper in seconds but before this will hold it in for a good while and even appear calm before the outbreak.
-Doesn't mind fawns. Isn't particularly interested in them but tolerates them well. If no one else does, will take action if sees one treated badly.
-A great fear for fire after witnessing a forest fire.
-He might appear somewhat stiff and serious sometimes but it's not hard to make him excited. He's actually very curious and doesn't always think about the consequences of his actions and decisions. In a sense he can be spontaneous and just throw himself into another exciting adventure.
-Just like anybody, isn't fond of any real fights but will take the challenge if sees it necessary or gets annoyed enough. Due to his still young age, he might think too highly of his own fighting skills and more easily accept the challenge.
-Fur is sleek and short, partly waterproof. Very shiny, rather thin.
-Fur under chin and on throat is very soft but the fur on back and tail is rough.
-The claws behind legs are long and curvy.
-Canine-like pointy nose.
-The pointy, stiff things above eyes are black and rough skin.
-Antlers are still growing. Abnormal and growing tiny spikes.
Fighting style:
-Fast and agile. Average strenght. Uses his strong legs for quick blows and kicks rather than his antlers for pushing. If given a chance, bites his opponent with his strong jaws and canine teeth. x
-Has inherited antelope's fast running speed and great stamina.
-He's still young and practicing by sparring. Isn't very experienced yet but relatively not too bad either. He does not know all of his limits yet and might make bad mistakes.
[friendly]
Haytham - Has seen this being around more often than others so far. The fox helped him along with a bunch of others earlier and he won't forget it. Doesn't yet know much about him but might find him a good ally.
Lieva - The strange doe has popped into his company a few times in the forest. Feels intrigued by the doe's fiery nature but wouldn't want to piss her off.

[avoids]
Sacrilege - Met him on his first day in the forest. The dangerous beast could only mean harm to him and he will do his everything to avoid meeting the demon again - especially while wounded.

Marrok had lived in a group nearly all his life and living alone felt harder to him. It hadn't been even a week until he already had regretted leaving the herd and even more he regretted it now. He wouldn't be here if he had stayed.
He flicked his ear as if to shoo away his thoughts like a bugging fly. "H-how *cough* - can it get messy..?" He coughed. His mouth started feeling rather dry after not drinking all day. He had visited the near by stream time to times but getting there was such a pain.
Haytham was quiet. His

Addressing his cough and dry voice, the doe raised some concern.

The doe indeed sounded unlucky when it came to herds. Marrok tilted his head slightly to her, brows furrowed thoughtfully. "Suppose there are good 'n bad ones. Herds. - Never thought about it." He uttered and glanced Haytham. Perhaps living alone was one safe way to go around here.
"Actually, I was planning on going for a drink before you guys turned up. Wouldn't mind having a sip now?" With these words he straightened his front legs and pushed his frame half-way up from the dry ground. Dry leaves and hay fleed from his shiny coat by the movement.

Haytham’s brow raised to Lieva’s summary. Something he guessed was her past experience, and just about as fickle as he expected it to be. Attempted murder wasn’t a subject too foreign with the Reynard. “‘Least you got out of it,” he said when she was done. “Seems like one Hell of a mess.” He wondered who the group was, and wrote down a mental note to ask the doe later should she not bring up more of it during their current conversation. Information like that was always good. Kept him on his toes.
The idea of water sounded great, honestly. While it was cool out, the arid climate was obvious, and as he quietly ground his teeth together Haytham found he was a bit parched. The weather in this place was often or not strange and unpredictable. It irked the fox sometimes, and yet he’d lived with it for almost a year and a half now. Most times, he bit back and dealt with it. Most times.
Getting to his paws the fox shook himself. Stepping lightly out of Marrok's way as his own two ears perked in the direction of the pond. Listening for movement, voices. Normally he didn’t go to the wide circle of water. Not on his own, at least. It was too open for something as small as him to walk freely through without a care. With the much taller duo however, he felt a little more comfortable with doing such a thing
Why, oh why can't computers
_________
Marrok sighed heavily, then pulled himself up from the ground. He as well shook himself to get rid of the most of the bothersome little sticks and leaves on his coat. He certainly didn't look his best - but then again, who would in his stead.
He licked his dry lips and glanced both the fox and the doe, wondering if either would join him. He never really expected any company but by now he had learned to appreciate it after spending so much time alone.
His head turned around a few times to get assured no one suspicious was near and then started taking steps towards the direction he knew the stream was at. Just yesterday he had dared to follow the stream a little way up and had found a strange statue.
"For the most part, yeah.
Lieva nodded to the pair, a drink sounded pretty good right about now. Rising to her feet, the doe finally took notice that Marrok was about as big as her - maybe a little taller than she. Kind of made her feel better about her stature, considering that a good portion of the forest was made up of giants.
Assuming Marrok was able to get around on his own without much help, the doe moved off towards the Crying Idol, pausing only briefly to browse the blueberry bushes and pick off any berries along the way.
The fox would follow as
The Crying Idol, as he'd come to learn its name, wasn’t far off. And it seemed as though Marrok could move much easier than the last time Haytham had seen him. A mental nod in that direction. Good, meant he was getting better. “Figured,” his voice was directed to Lieva and what she had said. “This place is on the small side, afterall.” At that, he looked up at the doe before turning his eyes back to the path. “Gonna guess you can’t get outta the forest, then? Seems like the only other way to get away from everything when you need to.” Unless you were capable of dismembering anyone who threatened you, that is. Then you wouldn’t have to leave. You could sit pretty and enjoy the weather like the majority.
The sounds of the fountain came up soon enough, and Haytham dipped down onto the bank. Paws making little indents in the softer sands before his nose would touch the water. Pink tongue lapping up what he needed before finding a spot in the dryer grass behind him. Ears back, twitching, as he curled his long tail about his paws.
Indeed, the buck had gotten a
His dark ears were turned back to listen to the conversation between the two others - especially when the fox mentioned about getting out of the forest he listened more closely than he let it show. He wanted to learn anything about travelling out of the forest.
After a while of walking - and limping, birch trees turned into pine trees and the dry ground under their hooves and paws into lush grass and moss. Marrok glanced the weird looking statue once before he approached the running water and lowered his head for it, small white beard soaking.
"I've never tried to. Don't
As the trio reached the Crying Idol, the doe took a sip of the running stream opposite of Marrok. The water was cool and refreshing, helping to wash down some of the blueberries she ate along the way.
Haytham found himself
Or maybe he just lacked something that kept him out. Whatever it was, Haytham wasn’t fond of not having it.
