The Book became enough of a character that it needs its own thing so it doesn't have to piggyback on La's page even though it's sort of kind of her familiar (or maybe it's the other way around?)

The Book is La's best friend. It has said of her that "She can't put me down."
It has La's pictogram on its cover and her glyphs on its spine as a show of affection to her.
If La were a wizard, The Book would be her familiar.
It isn't omniscient, but it's darn close--if it's been written about, The Book knows it.
It has a sense of humor sometimes, usually delivered through footnotes.
It's very old, and "speaks" every written language.
It's very sociable in that it loves being read.
It loves to be near other books.
It fears fire, water, and being eaten.




It'll also take submissions here. I like to imagine that it eats paper by slurping it up like I slurp noodles, but really it just devours information of all kinds and spits it our for whoever wants it. Kind of useful if it's not being a jerk.
