The Shooting Star and The Blue Giant, known in body as 'Stellar', are both sentient beings of light and heat. Both are a similar species born of stars. They are symbiotic and literally can not live without the other to the point they are nearly one being. If one dies the other soon fades into death themselves. Fleeing from a predatory creature Stellar hid within The Endless Forest where the Twin Gods took interest and gave it a pair of bodies to help camouflage them. |

Energetic, curious, full of wonder. The energy the small creature expresses boarders on annoying often. Without it's other half it can be gullible and easily fooled. It can make and loose bonds with other creatures easily. Often it can find a deer to be it's best friend for a day then loose interest the next. When it does make a lasting bond it is completely adoring of the individual and may follow them around the whole of the forest like a eager puppy. Fear is not something the small creature understands, in fact it may lack the ability. Still it recognizes danger and knows when to flee. Though it could easily be harmed Stellar is not without it’s defenses. It is swift and agile. It's antlers' needle sharp and tipped with flickering fire. If it feels it must fight it will likely attempt to get behind the threat and attack the rear before darting off. |

Perhaps because it is much more ancient and has seen much more before it evolved into the symbiotic creature that it is today. It tends to take it's time with whatever it happens to be doing. It is polite and observant. Easily picking up on other behaviors and ways of communicating. It does tend to have a strong sense of curiosity and may greet and sit with a stranger with what may seem out of the blue. It seems to be drawn to sad or depressed individuals. It does not attempt to create bonds, once it's curiosity is satisfied it tends to politely take it's leave. This does not mean a bond can’t be made. It will accept any company offered to it. Stellar does not tend to fight. It is usually very peaceful. Though it is very protective of it's other half. After all it can not survive without it. While The Blue Giant does not tend to show strong emotions it's other half's mood tends to draw out more reactions from the more stoic giant. |
A few facts: - Both the Shooting Star and the Blue Giant produce high amounts of heat. The colder their surroundings the more heat they radiate. However, if their surroundings are too cold for too long, usually extending in days, they can burn out. - Neither the Shooting Star nor the Blue Giant drink and while they wont avoid the pond they will not stand in it for very long. While both can stand the rain for a time being out in it for too long can weaken them. They are likely to grow sluggish and sleep more often when it rains. - Both the Shooting Star and the Blue Giant radiate light in low lighting. Night, rain, fog. The darker it is the brighter they glow. - Moods and emotions from one can affect the other. - If seen laying together the two Stellars are likely feeding. They exchange energy in a similar way that animals and plants exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. - They are drawn to other celestial beings. Characters related to the moon, the sun, or other stars. They may or might not know exactly why they are drawn to another but they have a sixth sense that tells them something is different about a deer. |
