Thorn flinched, he never expected Doll would notice anything, "nothings wrong, what makes you think that?". He needed to hide it, he didn't want to think about Doll's reaction if he found out the reason why Thorn came to the forest. "Everything is fine". He lowered his head and smiled softly hoping the little one hadn't seen through the lie.

A whistling breeze hollowed along the graveyards stones, a chill shattered Edreas spine, her teeth chattered at the brief slap of wind. Her eyes closed as she stretched her jaws yawning. Snapping them shut she shot her eyes open at the vision of a fresh corpse of a wolf. The sight was tempting, her lips exposed water, her tongue dangling as well, she stretched her long slim legs and sauntered toward the lifeless body, her fangs flourished, inserting into the wolfs figure, it was sweet, meaty, juicy, just as she desired.
The stag caught the scent of fresh meat but his appetite had gone as other thoughts were clouding his mind. Thorn approached the ruins with caution until he noticed the female. To him this sight was odd. The female's appearance didn't seem to match her carnivorous preference to the carcass. Still baffled by the sight he began to move towards the female, his previous thoughts had momentarily drifted to the back of his mind as he was too curious of such a sight that was in front of him.

The doe sucked up the thick blood of the mammal until she was satisfied. The sudden feel of presence discontinued her, she glaceed up, somewhat provoked. She starred down the strange male settled before her, the slim doe gathered to her feet, the blinding white eyes layed on him as she assembled her words "Hello... there." she greeted him respectfully, but however without a bow.
He was watching her like he just saw a ghost, it was strange.
But taking the sight of a grey somewhat normal doe, treating herself to a nice fleshy dead wolf isn't something you see every now and then.
She chuckled instigating to lick up the sweet red on her chest, "Sorry you had to see me... looking like this." she blended her fur as the red disappeared. Closing her eyes half way with a insignificant smile, baring her fangs in a nonthreatening state.

"I'm just...looking for someone". He had no intention of saying more than was needed if she really hadn't seen another male pass through here. "Sorry to have disturbed your meal". His head lifted again to sniff the air as he tried to work out the direction in which the scent had come from.
She smirked, "Alright??" she spoke with a shot of curiosity in her tone. She listened to the rest of the males sentence, flickering her fuzzy ears, "Don't worry about it.. i was about finished anyhow... its always nice meeting someone new.. im usually alone when Mai is away.." the grey female shivered again at the sudden soft gust of wind but she smiled again, she was in a sweet/nice mood since mai was not around.
The male's eyes focused on the female again, "Can I ask a favour?" . Perhaps the female will see the one he's searching for at some point. He gathered his thoughts on the appearance of the other male and tried to think of something that would be obvious to notice. "If you see a stag roaming around with three scars on his lower back, could you tell me where you saw him?" . Hopefully the scars would make him easy to spot, not many others have scars like that on that part of their bodies.
She starred at him as he asked "Depends..." she huffed listening, flinching she heard his order "So i'm being your slave now?" Edrea raised an eye brow and she began circling around the strange male.
He stared blankly at the female for a moment, "Does asking for a favour make someone their slave?" . He was confused by her words, perhaps she wasn't someone who could help him after all. "It was only a favour and it was only if you happened to spot the male by chance, I understand if you don't want to help, you wont get anything out of it if you do". He was speaking truthfully, he had no means to thank the doe if she did happen to see the other male. Aside from a few words of gratitude, she had nothing to gain so it was normal for her to reject a favour from someone she hardly knew.
She huffed "well honestly what do you expect? Im not the sweetest girl ever.. and besides I just met you..." she raised her eyebrows and flicked her tail smirking. She stretched her front legs and looked around.. "ya sure whatever I will keep a look out... but i ain't going on a journey to find him for you.. ok?"
Another blank expression showed on the males face for a moment, what did he expect? A straight answer, and yet the doe was talking of slaves and going on a journey. Was this favour really such a big thing? All she had to do was tell Thorn if she happened to see a male of the given description, he had no intention of making her go out of her usual business to look for such a male. But still, she had accepted so he refrained from saying more than was necessary. "Thank you, I appreciate it".
The grey doe smiled "Why are you looking for him anyway?? I mean I completely understand if you don't want me to know.. it is your business" she said flicking up her tail
"It's just a family thing, that's all". He wondered how the doe would react if he told her everything. The only other that knew of Thorns intentions was a doe by the name of Shimmer, but she hasn't been sighted in this forest for a long time now. He remembered that she used to be an obstacle, she was trying to protect the one that Thorn was searching for and he didn't want a repeat of that. Though this doe before him is different, he can't risk the possibility of her taking sides with that male, he didn't like the idea of fighting a doe who has a taste for wolf.
The stag was surprised "You know your the first to ask about my well-being". He was quite chuffed that the male showed care even though they hadn't met too often in the past. "I'm much better than I have been thanks. How about yourself?".
The stag voice's cause anxiety in him. "So where are the friends who should care about you?" He asked with louder voice, but was worried inside that maybe it was wrong question. Fast he answered on the second part of the statement. "Good to know. I'm good, but a little tired of all the journeys." He looked around like he was looking for something.

"I don't have many friends, but those I do have haven't been seen for a while now". He sighed but wouldn't let his thoughts get the better of him, "So you've been travelling?". Thorne looked at the male with curiosity.

He smiled to Thorn. "Just like me. I'm most of time in different places so it's hard to make a strong friendship." He felt his sight on himself. He looked at the male too and said: "Yes, I had to check some places like valleys and mountains, but still there is a lot to see." He smiled again.
"Sounds interesting, I used to travel. Maybe I'll do it again when my ass doesn't ache as much". He laughed at himself, perhaps to try and preserve the little pride he had left, if he laughed it off it didn't seem as bad.
He paused for a moment "I tried to kill my brother and it backfired". His answer was blunt but calm, he wasn't used to talking to others about his life or his problems and was curious to see what the males reaction would be.
He didnt expect to hear anything like that. He opened a little more his eyes when he heard the answer, but quickly looked somewhere else and said: "Well, we all have our reasons to do what we do, but what were your against the brother? It must be a big thing." He didn't expect to hear the answer, cause he understands it may be not his business.
"Whatever the reasons were, the're in the past now". He looked away "guess I've been given a chance to start over". He turned back to the male "but if you ever plan on killing someone, don't fail. You might get stuck with them finding you and nagging you all the time to make sure your okay, I don't class my brother as a friend, he's more like a flea that cares too much to bite". He started laughing again but he was grateful that his brother was so caring, otherwise he could have crushed Thorne by now.
