- Part TEF deer, part an unknown species of Gazelle.
- Slim, perhaps slightly below average height for a TEF buck.
- Yellow uncloven hooves.
- Thin Light blue nightfall pelt, patterned with gold-yellow stripes and stars.
- He does have a human face under his real deer mask, covered in very short blue fur except for the large yellow spots on each eye. Click for Facial Reference
- His mask is simple and brown, made of wood and held in place by a yellow ribbon.
- His eyes are a warm light brown.
- Antlers are medium sized and slightly curved gazelle antlers, only smooth and white. They carry red and blue feathers.
He didn't know what to do. He returned her gaze blankly, and began to think out loud. "I wonder if this has ever happened before, I've never seen any humans here maybe because they turn into deer? You said you went through a veil..." But there were many other creatures that remained the same. And if it was transformation magic then the sneeze should have worked. And why had it taken so long to take effect.
"No... I can't-" He halted mid-sentence, unnerved by the strangeness of the whole situation. "Maybe the twins...?"
She looked at him, "'The Twins'? Who are they, and why would the turn me into a doe?" She looked back down at her new body. The thought of being a doe and being in this forest forever scared her. "Can these 'Twins' change be back?" she asked.
OOC: I'm sorry for responding late! I thought I responded to your post!
(It's fine, I missed one of your responses previously as well, it happens ^.^)
Zevi gave her a somewhat odd look, mulling over what she had said. It seemed that the twins weren't known outside the forest, unless it was just Nika who had never heard of them. He nodded vaguely in the direction on the twin statues. "You crashed into their statues on the hill over there. They are Michaël and Auriea, though nearly everyone here refers to them as the twin gods. They watch over the forest, I'm not entirely sure why they would change you..."
He nervously shifted his hooves. "Though your ship could have burned up the forest, we don't have things like that here, is it made by humans?" He hurriedly brushed past this query, not wanting her to think he was blaming her. "I'm not sure if they're the ones who transformed you, but I'm almost positive they could turn you back. They must have sent the rain last night too."
"Could they have changed me?" she thought. "Yes, it is made by humans," she said looking to where her ship was. "How can they turn me back?" He looked down at his nervous shuffling, then back at his face. She did not mean to make him feel nervous. She looked down at her legs once more. It wasn't so bad having a doe body, and it seemed like the gods here would help her to change back and leave.
He wondered how humans could accomplish such a thing. A thing, capable of carrying a person, and able to fly high in the sky, space, she had informed him. Perhaps it was because of their claws, Zevi had noticed how Nika was able to hold on to things so easily with them. "I don't know how, they just probably could. They're responsible for the magic in the forest, and have made many amazing things occur in their visits... Actually that's the thing, I'm not entirely sure how to go about contacting them? They visit rarely, even less than before... Though some think they are always watching us even if we can't see them."
Aaah!! I just saw this, thank you so much! It's fine, I was just worried something had happened to you, and I understand how school can be- I did enjoy our roleplay while it lasted, if you ever want to rp again just ask ^^
But wow, I absolutely love it, he looks wonderful =D eee the coloring is so lovely, I especially like his antlers, and the way you drew his face is really great, I love how interesting his expression is <3 Thank you again ♥
I made a second version of Nika (I'm still deciding whether or not I will change the original Nika to her), and I would like to use her. I don't have a bio yet, and her appearance and story are different.
Nika was curled up quietly in a thicket of tall, green grass. She was sleeping, but yet she began to move in her sleep. She was tormented by the dream of her death. She had died of the Black Death, and died alone, for no one could help her. It was horrific and slow, but luckily after her death they gave her a proper burial, rather than throw her body into the piles of other decaying bodies and burn her.
(By the way, since this is a new version of Nika, do you want me to disregard our previous RP so that it didn't happen/Zevi doesn't remember it?)
The deer's eyes blinked blearily open, gazing out through the forest still wreathed in shadows. It seemed to be very early morning, the sun had barely dawned, casting pale light across the sky, and the air was crisp and chilly. The buck hadn't been asleep very long, he liked to stay up late into the night with the stars, and usually slept later because of it. Perhaps and a dream had agitated him into wakefulness. Zevi blamed the cold weather.
He sat up more upright, but hesitated to move from the slight warmth of his spot, where he rested near the ruins, pressed against a tree trunk. After a minute, he slowly got to his hooves, and shivered as a sudden cool breeze briskly streamed through his light coat. It was best to start moving, that seemed to help. The deer started out, swiveling his ears for anyone else who might be around at this time of day.
OOC: Hmm...The previous Nika is still a character (I hope this isn't too confusing), but for now, yes, until I deciding something for her.
Nika's legs twitched in movement as her nightmare continued. She was choking in her dream from the smoke, and all she could hear was screaming. "Please, take me from here..." she spoke in her dream and out loud. "Please, I do not want to die here..."
The blue buck paused mid hoof-step, picking up the voice from nearby. The words, which he could just make out were alarming, and he began to search for the source. Some rustling caught the corner of his eye, and Zevi cautiously approached the moving grass. He could see a doe now, asleep in it's midst. It didn't look to him as if she was in any danger, the pleading words must have been in response to what seemed to be a nightmare.
He stood there for a moment, undecided if it was his place to wake her up... but the other deer looked distressed, and he didn't want to just leave her like this for who knew how long it would take her to wake up on her own. Zevi cleared his throat nervously, and softly nudged the other deer's leg. "It's alright... you're not going to die here, it's just a dream..."
His touched startled her and she sat up quickly. She her heart was racing and she was breathing heavily, but then she started to relax, and her breathing began to slow. "It was just a nightmare," she thought. She looked up at the blue stag.
"Thank you for waking me up," she said, and she truly meant it.
He pulled back in some alarm as she jerked awake quickly, and stood waiting for her to collect herself, watching with some concern. He felt relieved as she voiced her thanks, glad he hadn't been presumptuous and that she was alright now.
She sighed and slowly stood. "Some nights the nightmares plague me," she said as she looked at the stag. "I am Nika, by the way," she said with a polite bow. "And what is the name of the stag who 'rescued' me?" she asked playfully with a wink.
He nodded slightly, taking note of 'the', which seemed like odd phrasing. He wondered if the nightmares that she suffered were something specific in nature... And if other times there had been someone to wake her up. He bowed in return as she introduced herself, barely catching the wink and blinking somewhat in surprise.
"Nice to meet you, Nika. My name is Zevi." He offered with a friendly smile. He had probably been mistaken, and she had gotten something caught in her eye.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Zevi," she said. She stood up and gave him a polite bow. "And where are you off to this night?" she asked, curious as to why this stag was wandering around so late at night.
"No where in particular really... I couldn't stay asleep for hardly any time, so I thought I would take a walk." Zevi explained, and then added awkwardly after a pause, "I was thinking of finding a clear space to watch the stars."
"Ah, I see," she said, slowly rising, "And the stars? May I join you?" She remembered how she used to look at the stars with her father. She wondered if this realm had the same stars.
"Yes, you may, if you'd like." Company would be nice, not to mention declining would feel a bit rude. She must have had quite the nightmare, it was understandable if she didn't want to try to go back to sleep just yet.
She smiled and stood up, "Thank you." Her eyes moved up to the sky; it was a lovely, clear night. The stars twinkled beautifully through the boughs of the tall trees, as if asking the two creatures to hurry to get a better view of their beauty.
He didn't know what to do. He
