The sun was just setting, casting an orange glow over the entire forest; dark grey hooves sunk into the pastel-coloured forest floor, breaking through the flaxen grass of the birch. The antlered doe raised her head, constricted pupils staring at the dimmed ball of fire as it descended in the sky. Suddenly, her head twitched, head snapping quickly to the left. The form of a small doe could be seen amongst the honey-coloured blades; Astrid turned, trotting closer, curious.

What brings you to the Birch Forest?Hardly any deer but me come here,I guess the grass tickles their fur or something.. She studied the doe,mainly because she was bored and she was a curious about anything right now.

Opening her jaws once more, baring her black gums and strikingly contrasting tongue, she shut them again with a snap, pale blue eyes widening, angular shoulders rolling back and cracking.
Though she didn't
Fear was now what she felt.But she cleared those thoughts away and smiled,a forced smile,at her.
Then she heard the shoulders cracking.
Is your back alright?...I now just the herbs to stop those shoulder bones from cracking! With a real smile,her eagerness took away all the fear.

She took in her obvious discomfort. Her predatory instincts made her able to scent fear -- a thick, delicious smell, one she adored.
Astrid then flicked her head, eyes narrowing on a lone bird. She glanced back to see if the doe was watching, crouching down, waiting for the avian to be at its most vulnerable.

NO!!!Don't hu-hurt the b-bird!! She jumped at her to try and push her down before she could get the bird.Why do you want to kill the poor bird??It has done nothing! She said this with a little more strength,but her body still shaking from fear of what the doe would do.

The doe only pushed her away, overpowering the tiny doe with ease. "Hm." With another glance at the doe, she leapt up, snapping at the bird; her teeth closed around it, wrenching it from the branch. Watching the doe with narrowed eyes, she crunched at the bird, swallowing it whole. A chuckle.

She screamed,some words that couldn't be identified from her sobbing,then fell to the ground.

If you like it when it hurts then that must mean you are hurt inside. Her voice softened and she started to feel pity.
Of course she expected a harsh response and negativity,but she wouldn't hurt this doe anymore.

Then, as the doe advanced, she brought the tip close to Natali's throat, growling. "Don't you dare touch my scars," she snarled, threatening to press the point against the soft flesh of the brown doe's neck.
The definition of pain is
You can't love that,nothing can!So that means YOUR lying when you say you love and need pain.
She stepped back,a sharp glare at Astrid.What a temper you have...and I didn't mean just your physical scars.I mean the scars you have mentally.
She sat down calmly,no fear this time.

"Maybe you should stop assuming and intruding on my life," she snarled, the tip pressing hard against the flesh. When Natali stepped back, she still kept her crown lowered.
"I have no fucking mental scars!" she screeched, rearing onto her hindlegs and slamming her hooves down. "Nothing made me like this, I was born this way." She cast a glance over at the fleshy scar on the brown doe's neck then turned away.
There was no possible way Natali would find emotion on the skull of a face, the skull that was frozen in a permanent smirk for the rest of her life.

Her eyes lowered for a moment
The smaller had obviously not found the antlered doe in a good mood -- any other time, and she would've most likely greeted the female and sat with her or have been on her way. But now she was angry, and she felt like she needed to prove something.
"A monster, am I?" This elicited a barking laugh from the white doe. "There are worse monsters in this forest than me, little one."
This time, she still called her 'little', but it was more in an affectionate manner; her ears were pinned back and though her antlers were still lowered, she raised them a little so they were no longer pointing towards Natali.
Also so I can't fight back
So what if I'm a little pipsqueak with antlers???!! She got up and turned away from the doe.Her head down.
She turned her head towards Astrid,Have you ever met any of them monsters "worse" than you?
