Losing progress; falling feral again. Growing hungry, but still excited to see Vita again.
Current thoughts: "....mine..."
Recent Activity: Relaxed in solitude until Sianna came up; began speaking with her, was distracted from forgiving her by Vita's calls. Eventually went to Vita, which spurred Sianna into attacking the mini. Instinctively defended Vita, shielding her from the jealous phoenix-doe until she left. Snuggled Vita and cleaned out the bite from Sianna afterwards. Overjoyed to see her again; cuddled up to her and fell asleep.
Let me begin..
Height: Approx. 2 meters ( 6'7" ) at the shoulder ( 9' to top of head ).
Build:
- Surprisingly lightweight and lithe, long body and neck.
- Long, thin legs, and a sharp, slender muzzle.
- An unkempt mane and tail, resembling that of a horse.
- Antlerless, ungodly tooth structure (all thin, sharp canines.)
- Wingspan approx 11 meters ( 36 ft, 18 ft per wing ) from wingtip to wingtip.
- Extremely long, tapered flight feathers account for this massive span.
See
[Apeldille's Chart] for size reference.
- My name is (XVIII) Eighteen.
- Way, the Betrayer calls me "The Dragon."
- Most simply call me a monster.
- I can not remember how I got here.
- I am a stag, though I have no antlers...
- I speak like this;
#2B3856
- ( Voice: Lord Shen [Kung Fu Panda 2] )
- I can be identified by this
[Pictogram] in the forest, as well as by sight.
- I wear the magpie pelt, key antlers, and skull mask.
- I do not know my age.
- You need not know more.
XVIII is extremely unsocialized and unfamiliar with how to interact with deer inforest. When his predatory drive is low, he tends to be more stable, and appear curious or confused by the behaviour of other deer towards him. He is unlikely to bow, not out of rudeness, but because he was never taught that this was the polite way to greet another. Deer are food to him. When his predatory drive is high, he may obsessively sniff and circle deer, and appear to act aggressively but this is simply out of hunger and instinct, not a personality trait.

You're pathetic, the lot of you. Face me one by one, instead of charging me like a flock of sheep, you disgusting wastes. You're afraid you can't hold your own against me, hm? I've called you weak Honeyfur, because you ARE weak, you can't drive me off without the help of your weakling friends. You're weak now, and you'll always be weak, that won't and will never change. Look at this.. you, with a dragon form, and you're STILL too scared to face me alone! HA!
Ozzie, the one with no experience at all hopes to hold his own against me.. you have no muscle, your antlers aren't hardened for battle, you're not conditioned to this and you will never have the mind of a fighter. Phobos, with power you lack the antlers to use that power properly. What are you going to do, smack me to death? That is.. if you could even reach my shoulder.. tiny little fool.
You're all children, useless, scared little children who hide behind each other to unfairly overpower a truly superior opponent. You think I'm daunted by you? Come at me, one at a time, and I'll gladly put you in your rightful places; six feet under, and nothing but bone.
---
.. You're truly disgusting. I'd tear your revolting fawns from your very womb, Honeyfur, out of pity that the rest of the world wouldn't have to suffer the idiocy their parents would surely pass onto them.

I started my hunt tonight, just like usual.. I'm famished. To start things off I.. came across a rabbit by the playground, mmh.. chased and played with it all the way to the pond before I decided to eat it. It was tasty, but a mere appetizer. Then.. then I smelled the same wonderful smell of that owl stag.. on a doe, a small doe, mmh.. she looked so good. I wanted a taste of her.. her blood, if it's anything as sweet as his, it must be incredible.
.. It would have been if not for that damn Guardian, Forsake. He ruined everything.. he kept me from my dinner, and brought two others to defend it. What's wrong with this picture? I am.. STARVING, and I.. no.. I can.. find something else. But I'm too hurt to right now. What am I to do..? I can't graze like them. That Honeyfur.. I hate her most of all. She'll pay for this, with her life.. or with the lives she has yet to bring into this world. Hmph..
Though.. something good did come out of this, I guess. Way.. this little mini whom I intended to make a meal out of earlier came to me afterwards at the pond. He helped clean my wounds, as Herla did, he tended to me, became curious.. why? Well.. he's mine now. I want him.. all to myself. This one is MINE, all mine, I have marked him as my own. Stay away from him, if any of you value your pathetic lives.

Method: Eighteen is an absolutely monstrous opponent. This beast attacks relentlessly, fueled by hunger and sheer hatred for the forest and its residents, dealing horrific amounts of damage very quickly. One on one, it is near impossible to take this beast down.
He will only fight if cornered, or overwhelmed by too many deer at once in a large group, which is the one and only way to deter him. He stands over nine feet tall at the top of the head, and displays a wingspan stretching thirty-six feet from wingtip to wingtip, accounted for by long, tapered flight feathers. While antlerless, he dons many thin, but sharp and powerful canines, lining the jaws of a skeletal face. This monster can sustain an extremely high amount of injuries, and isn't even mildly affected by pain from wounds during the rush of a fight.
His primary method of attack is to bite onto an opponent, clamp down, and rip and tear until they manage to pull away from him. His hooves and body are secondary; he may pound and slash at his enemies with them, or simply charge into them, sometimes blocking their vision with his wings and then attacking from behind the veil he has created.
His only true weak point is in dodging, when he becomes too wrapped up in offensive tactics to defend himself well. Contrary to popular belief, unless provoked he is non-aggressive around most deer, unless fixated on certain individuals (noted under relations) or his current prey target. He also heals ungodly fast, making him a difficult individual to get down, let alone keep down.
This beast is truly a thing of nightmares.

Thirty feet up in the old
The stag rested his gaze on a small form; that of a crow, not unlike the ones he often ate when nothing else was around to hunt. For a few long seconds, his mouth watered impulsively, and his stomach once again tightened with starvation. He quivered lightly, muscles tensing, only to calm his instincts and clear his mind of such predatory drives. This one could speak his language. Maybe it could tell him something important.
"And what's this you've heard so much about?" the stag muttered, eyeing the crow hungrily still, but with enough curiosity to keep his jaws shut.. for now. Shifting eagerly, with a huff he quieted down, his guard fully up once again. "What do you want? Out with it, bird."
mind if I throw Nane into the
Nane woke up with a start and jumped away from the stag, closer to the edge of the hollow. When she saw were she was she gasped then limped quickly over to a far corner of the little hollow to cower away from Eighteen.
She could hear Honey, Ozzie, and Tandem but she didn't call back to them. Unable to speak at the moment anyway.
She tried to make herself look smaller as she attempted a vain attempt to hide from Eighteen.
Nane had regained a nervous shaking and was on the verge of hyperventalating again.
Oh, go for it 8D and yes
Uwharrie: The moment he'd
"Oh, Nane.. you're awake," he purred, slithering closer again. The fear in her eyes didn't phase him, and he lowered himself down, rolling over onto his back and tucking his legs up in resemblance of more feline behaviour. "How do you feel? Aside from the obvious.. stressed, tired, you hate me and want me dead, et cetera, ma cherie?~" Eighteen hummed contently to himself, deciding to pay no attention to the others so far below. They couldn't reach them.
"It's just you and me..~" Perfect.
Still eyeing the stag up,
"Tsk tsk, that is no way to speak to someone as old and wise as I," he hummed near mockingly as he watched the predator quiver with restraint. That was much appreciated, of course. But, no matter the situation, there was still a plan to be hatched, one that would benefit Dismay greatly and hopefully open up other opportunities as well.
With a light scoff, Tandem pulled back away, clicking his beak in slight annoyance. How rude of that guy, to be snapping at him so. "You're hungry, are you not? Hunting isn't quite so easy in the Forest, I'm certain you've learned. You will surely starve if not offered help. My help, more specifically."

Kirness: "Oh? And what do you
"Rather.. what does any crow have to offer me that I should find useful? What makes you so special? I see a bird; a scavenger, not a killer but a mooch, one that lives off the effort of others. You certainly won't do my hunting for me, so why? Why should I bother with you at all?" His tone dripped with skepticism. This flying entree was wasting his time.
The touch of the stag made
Amazingly enough, Nane resorted to what she always did when confronted with a bad sintuation: sarcasm.
"Oh, perfectly fine other than that... Oh, wait, I am a bit thirsty." she practically growled. She was still shaking but her mind sought to regain control of her body as it fought the panic and stress. She tried to shallow her fear.. It wasn't going to help her now...
It's just you and me.
It made her sick to her stomach, she feeltingly thought about throwing herself out of the hollow...
"Because.." Tandem started,
"Because predators hardly thrive these days, us scavengers have been going hungry too. So, on behalf on my species, I've come to strike a deal with you." Daring to hop closer, Tandem eventually made his way onto a lower branch, confident that Eighteen wouldn't try anything on him yet. He was too curious, he could sense it. "And, in a sense.. I can. I know who is going to die soon and how, I can smell out your prey even before you set your sights on them and direct you to them. It would benefit us both, you know." How clever.
Art by Anjali. ♥
Uwharrie: Eighteen snorted
"I'll happily take you down to the pond, for as long as you like.. as soon as they're gone," he hissed, shooting a nasty, almost frightful look over the edge of his hollow down to the crowd of deer below. The stag shook with anxiety. They were trying to take Nane from him.. but he wouldn't let them. Yet, amazingly, a spark of sympathy lit up in the beast's eyes as they settled on the doe again.
"... If they don't leave soon, I'll go down myself and find something to carry some water back for you in." That was very likely the nicest thing he'd ever said. This sweet little doe made him melt, and he nudged at her side again gently with the tip of his muzzle, perking his ears up once again. It was the fear of seperation now that had his heart hammering in his chest uneasily.
---
Kirness: In spite of his skeptical outlook on the bird, hesitantly Eighteen nodded, willing to hear him out. He quirked a brow, considering all that Tandem had just said, humming thoughtfully in the depths of his throat. Finally, his features relaxed, leaving him looking more accepting of the strange avian.
"... Alright," he said finally, dismissively. "I'll give it a try.. once, but once, and should you fail me and lead me astray.. I'll take you as compensation for going hungry again," the stag hissed, only to crack a wild grin and unleash an equally psychotic laugh to match.
Nane wasn't even really that
Nane tensed at his touch, ears flattening back, pained gaze refusing to look at him. She thought about doing something, anything, but nothing came to her. She could try and kick, hit, or bite him; but, that would waste energy she just didn't have and probably yeild no results.
She had to shift slightly so she wasn't laying fully on her injured right leg. The past day had worsened the condition of the ligament and her whole hind-leg was throbbing.
Uwharrie: Eighteen frowned
".. I'm ready to let you go," he murmured, "But I.. want you to listen to me first, there's something I wanted to say to you, something I wanted to talk to you about. I had to get you away from them to do this, you were too busy defending them to stop and think. Will you listen now?"
After a long pause, hopefully bringing compliance, he continued.
".. Would you believe me if I said I wanted to apologize for my actions? Not ask forgiveness, never ask forgiveness, just express my regrets? If I was prepared to do that, would you even take the time of day to hear me out?" Eighteen exhaled a flustered sigh. This was difficult, too difficult. But it was important to him somehow, important that this one little doe knew this.
In all, the crow was a little
"Now then.. what would I get out of leading you astray? Perhaps a meal for a night, but that would only cause me to go hungry for more days in the future. I'm not out to get you, my friend, but if you can't be grateful for a greater chance at eating regularly then I could always speak with another predator who'd like to eat soon." After all, Dismay deserved a little respect from his mortal tools.

D: That sounds like there's
(lol Yes, I've been stalking this) x]
( Maybe, maybe not. lD Heeee~
Kirness: Eighteen huffed stubbornly, pinning his ears back at the crow.
"... Don't call me your 'friend'. Come back here tomorrow when the sun starts to set and we'll determine whether you are or not. Now get lost, I've got important things to tend to," he urged, casting an affectionate glance back at the mini asleep behind him. He shifted, curling his body around the sleeping doe's to keep her warm while she slept, effectively hiding her from Tandem. This mini was his, for now.. his and no one else's.
Quirking a nonexistent brow,
Don't worry, Nane, we'll find a way to get you out of this..
And with a sigh, Dismay spread his wings and took off. He needed to talk to Crucio anyway, he would know what to do or know someone who could help. Surely he would.
Art by Anjali. ♥
Nane took a few deep breaths,
The way he sounded, the words were different than before... He would let her go? She let out a shaky breath in response to that, wondering whether or not to believe him.
It angered her though, if he had truly only done this all, had frightened her so much just to talk to her. Why should she listen? Why should she have to listen to a word he wanted to say? What had he done to her? Tried to kill both her and her mate, and then stolen her. She wanted a good reason...
Now Nane was a forgiving doe, she always had been... But never had anything that had tried to eat her apoligized to her. She didn't know how to react, she was utterly confused.
"Hear you out? Why should I?" she snapped, shifting her body uncomfertably to face him. She looked him in the eyes now, a new-found courage taking hold. What did he want?
"... Just what is it you want me to hear out." the stag looked defeated before her and she wasn't sure what had caused this. The tiniest pang of sympathy weld up but was quickly erased at the memory of her bloody, unconsious mate.
But, still, Nane pricked her ears forward... Not sure what to do or say any further.
Uwharrie: (done rping with
After a long pause, Eighteen shrugged, shaking his head. He hadn't the slightest idea why she should listen at all, and clamped his jaws shut tightly. In spite of that, he went on, hesitantly.
"... My reasoning for.. this," he urged, beginning to confuse himself now as well. No.. he'd been after Nane for sure, as prey, there was no other reasoning behind it. There was no way to justify it; it was a predatory drive, hunger, nothing more and nothing less.
"You wouldn't have LISTENED to me around them, you were too worked up, too focused on keeping me away from them when I wasn't interested in them to begin with. Not in the least.. you.. I like you," the stag went on, nosing at her side timidly again. Half-heartedly, he tipped his ears forward once again, nibbling at her fur affectionately. It felt nice to have someone to dote on, someone to cling onto. He wouldn't have admitted it though, never.
".. Is there any chance of me getting to know you at all without it being.. like this?" he added, rolling over onto his belly and stretching out now. That was the closest he would get to admitting to how much he secretly craved affection, and how much separation anxiety he harboured. That was why he'd so desperately snatched her and stolen her away. But he couldn't keep her here, either. She wasn't happy here. That was no secret.
His words confused Nane,
Her ears flattened against her skull again when he nuzzled her. It was odd, an action she would have found more than pleasant if it had been her mate, made her growl. The nuzzling might have felt good to the touch, but that was no concern to Nane, it was about who was doing the nuzzling.
As far as she was conceren, Nane didn't want anyone touching her like that other than her mate. She loved Flammel, that wasn't changing tonight, nor would she willingly defile that trust tonight or any other night.
"No... I'm in love with my mate and no one else." She said firmly, still attempting to keep eye-contact while she still had the courage.
Eighteen could find a more willing pet.

(Haha, poor Soona almost had
The sound of hooves pounding frantically on soft earth could be heard by deer nearby as Soona chased after a rabbit as fast as his legs could carry him. He had stalked it for almost an hour, and chased it for Gods knew how long. He was growing tired, as he was already worn out from running from two albino stags earlier. But he couldn't give up...he couldn't! Suddenly, the rabbit managed to stumble over a small rock jutting from the ground...and with a burst of newfound energy, Soona snatched the rabbit up, clamping his strong grazing teeth down on its nape. The rabbit squealed and writhed its body in a panic, and although his heart clenched with sorrow and regret Soona did not let go.
Forgive me, little one...
Trying his best to ignore the rabbit's shrieks, Soona galloped over to the hollow where Eighteen seemed to reside. His eyes scanned all around the hollow, but saw no signs of the winged stag. The blue buck's mind raced as he tried to think of what he should do. He wanted to let the rabbit free, but...perhaps Eighteen would be back soon, and he would have nothing to offer the starving deer. Perhaps he should wait, just for a little longer...although the rabbit's panicked writhing would drive him to insanity.
Please be here...please...

Uwharrie: Eighteen's
"So.. that's how it's going to be.. I see," he began, the calmness in his voice betraying the relentless anger burning through his entire expression. "Fine," the beast hissed, trembling, stepping over top of her possessively.
"If I can't have you.. no one can.. you're.. Y-YOU'RE STAYING HERE..!" Eighteen snapped, lowering his head and nuzzling at her flanks obsessively, giving her a sharp nip before pulling back. Lunging to the front of the hollow, he flared his wings out again, letting out a shrill, piercing cry warning anyone and anything that dared venture too close. Staggering back to the gazelle, he nudged and nosed at her, rubbing against her whenever such contact was applicable to re-establish his claim on her. No one was taking her away from him.. no one.
---
Uruu: ( LOL, yeah. Sonnet thought Soona was just playing with them, making it into a "gotta catch me first" type of game.. XD butyes, he wanted nuzzles. ^^ <3 )
The sound of hoofbeats was nothing out of the ordinary. Plenty of deer passed this area on a regular basis, especially since he'd stolen Nanetta away; it was the sounds of the rabbit struggling that caught his attention. The predator's ears perked up as he rose to his feet, wandering over to the edge of the hollow, staring down below to find Soona with prey locked in his grasp. Eighteen's stomach tightened with hunger, and he licked his lips anxiously, a soft shiver shaking its way through him as he spread his wings and leapt over the side of the tree. Gliding down gently, he leapt between branches on his way down, cushioning some of the momentum until he could land next to Soona quite gracefully.
The flapping of his wings stirred the grass into a frenzy beneath them; for such lean, frail-looking wings, their strokes were incredibly powerful. But, from such a large span, it was to be expected. He ruffled his feathers gently, then folded both wings in against his sides again.
"Soona," Eighteen coo'd affectionately, nuzzling thoroughly along the side of the other stag's neck with gratitude. "I knew you wouldn't let me down.." he added. In a split second he abruptly snatched the rabbit from the other deer's jaws, clamping down on it with his own. Its skeleton was almost instantly crushed upon entering his vice grip, and he took a few steps back away from the smaller stag before turning and lowering himself down next to the old oak. The predator began to rip and tear at the rabbit ravenously, swallowing frantically before diving in for more. Such a prize was a mere appetizer for him, but at this point, he was willing to take anything he could get.
(Aww, poor Sonnet! Perhaps
The blue stag's ears flicked this way and that, trying to catch any signs of movement around him. The majority of the deer in the area were socializing by the pond, leaving the hollow empty save for himself and the struggling rabbit. Or, so he thought. The sound of large wings flapping made him jump and duck beside a nearby tree. Looking up, he relaxed as he took in the admittedly alluring sight of the winged entity descending from the very tree that Soona stood beside. Soona watched as Eighteen made his was down, entranced, and for reasons beyond him formed a smile around the rabbit's nape when he landed beside the blue buck.
Soona's eyes fluttered shut as Eighteen cooed and nuzzled along his neck, a soft noise of pleasure forming in his throat, his fur ruffling as he shivered. I couldn't let you down...I am here to help, he wanted to say, but having a rabbit between his teeth made it difficult to vocalize. That problem was solved when the small animal was ripped from Soona's grasp, and he jumped back at the sudden movement. Uttering a strangled gasp, Soona turned away as Eighteen crushed the rabbit's neck and began to tear into it voraciously.
Slowly, Soona turned to face Eighteen again, and he swallowed back bile at the sight of the blood and entrails on the ground...the blood on the entity's fur and muzzle. He quivered with an odd mixture of emotions...but most of all, he felt relief. "D-does it help?" he asked quietly as Eighteen neared the end of his, admittedly, meager meal.
"Yes," Eighteen responded
"Let the beasts down there make use of it, I don't want flies around my hollow," he hissed bitterly, wandering back over towards the old oak. There, he lazed back down again contently, with a partially full belly to soothe some of his irritable mood and frayed nerves. Almost immediately, his tongue went to work cleaning the blood from his near skeletal muzzle, and then moved on down to clean up the fur around his chest and chest as best he could reach.
"Certainly not a full deer though.. surely with this, I may have the strength to catch one myself, even a small one." Briefly, the thought of devouring Way crossed his mind. That only made him bitter again, grimacing and scowling to himself. That filthy, useless betrayer.. he deserved a more painful end.
(Haha...I saw Eighteen's
A small sigh of relief escaped the blue-and-white buck at Eighteen's reply. Good. If anything, that would help keep him away from the other deer...at least for now. He could not help but look on, completely entranced as Eighteen effortlessly picked the rabbit's bones clean. There was literally nothing left but a skeleton, and Soona felt a pang of sympathy for the entity. He truly was starving... He soon winced at the mention of the pond-beasts; truly, they were the reason why he never waded too deep into the water. He was never a good swimmer, anyway.
Soona watched Eighteen laze on the ground and groom himself, and he remained standing, feeling foolish and not so sure what to do. Perhaps he should leave, but...Gods, was Eighteen warm. And his touch... He could not turn away from that. When Eighteen spoke again, Soona managed a weak smile and bowed his head slightly. "I...I am glad to have helped in some way. Th-the rabbits around here c-can be quite large. I am s-sure you would have more success than me," he replied, ending with a soft chuckle. Well, of course: Eighteen was a predator, and Soona was anything but. Noticing the scowl, Soona blinked and backed up, crouching submissively. "I-I am sorry...I will leave you be, if you wish..."

(Awwww!!! ;;
( .. LOL. Crap, sorry D: I
Eighteen glanced back up at the other stag curiously, tilting his head off to the side, silently inquiring. Yet, he shook his head, no matter. There was no reason for him to want Soona gone. This was one deer who'd done nothing but assist him, and for that, even the villainous Eighteen was grateful.
"Most likely," The predator pondered aloud, stretching out on his stomach, huffing contently. "But I find it impressive that you managed to catch such a thing, being a herbivore as you are. It must have been difficult.. and even more difficult to hold onto, with no jaws to grab it in," he continued, humming approvingly in his throat.
"You've been quite helpful to me thus far.. thank you," he muttered, a small smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth as he gazed upon Soona with admiration, no matter how slight.
Nane pulled herself to her
Her violent shakes came back as he agressively nuzzeled her flanks, she loathed that touch more than she could descirbe, it felt so wrong...
Nane made a quiet yelping noise as he bit her; it pulled a tuff of hair from her flank.
She coward against the wooden wall of the hollow as he screeched, she held up her right leg off the floor from the pain of it.
When he came back over to obsessively prod at her she cowered further. Closing her eyes shut tightly. The small doe looked pitiful.
"Leave me alone." she said in a small voice, almost like the voice of a frightened child.
She felt like she was ready to snap, both mentally and physically.
(Haha, no worries at all; I
The curious gaze made Soona look up, his posture straightening slightly. He tried to read the entity's expressions, but it was very hard to tell what he was thinking. One thing was for sure: he wasn't chasing Soona away. A soft blush spread across the blue buck's cheeks at the compliment, although he soon blanched thinking back to snatching up that terrified rabbit. The small animal was like him...scared and confused. Soona's heart grew heavy, although he managed a weak smile. "Th-thank you," was all he could say, his voice hushed.
At Eighteen's confession, Soona blinked in surprise, and then took a couple of steps closer to the winged stag. "It is nothing. I...I don't want you to starve, but...I don't want others to get hurt, either. I want to help you." Soona was finally able to vocalize what he wanted to say, and his soft eyes gazed into Eighteen's wild ones. He felt warmth spread within his body as Eighteen regarded him, and he could not help but return the smile. The buck risked taking a few more steps closer, and then lowered himself to the soft earth with a sigh. He was only a couple of feet from the entity, respectfully giving the more powerful being his space. Although the winged stag smelled of blood and death, it did not bother Soona too much. The look in Eighteen's eyes was enough to relax him, to reassure him. There was goodness in there...he knew it.
Uwharrie / Honeyfur: Eighteen
.. if not for the talons that came out of dead silence, scratching and clawing at his eyes and face.
The stag let out an enraged cry, one that parted his jaws and released his hold on the gazelle. Clamping his eyes shut tightly to keep them from becoming damaged, he thrashed about, rearing up and swiping wildly at the air in front of him. As his massive span of wings spread, they bumped into the sides of the hollow, which was much too small in the back to allow him to fan out properly.
The deep blue owl that slashed and snatched at the beast's face harbored a familiar pattern of gold flecks all throughout his feathers, uttering a piercing shriek at the much larger beast. Those light wings beat wildly at the air, keeping him up, maneuvering him keenly when Eighteen lunged at him with jaws parted. Narrowing escaping them as they snapped shut, Flammel turned and soared out towards the entrance, tucking his wings in close to his sides and diving to pick up momentum. Eighteen pursued the Guardian, wings held shut as he dove after the owl, catching the air beneath them barely more than a meter off the ground and ascending after his new target in a fury once again.
From above, Flammel cast a glance down at Honeyfur around the oak's trunk, crying out to her. With the speed at which he was flying, both he and Eighteen quickly took off over the canopy, then dove down into it and out of sight.
Go get Nane.. bring my Nane home.
( That's your cue, dragon!Honey. <3 Feel free to post, Uwharrie, but this shall my last for you guys on Eighteen / Flammel for a while. lD )

Honeyfur stared up anxiously at the hollow, hearing the commotion up above. She grit her teeth, wanting desperately to turn into her dragon form and fly up there to take Nane away from that wretched beast.
Y-YOU'RE STAYING HERE..!"
"NO!"
It happened quickly. She could feel the heat build up inside her, her muscles stretched and shrunk, her tail grew out until it was the length of her body. A lump started forming on both of her sides, and they grew and grew until they were a little longer than her torso, membranes stretching out to form wings. Her front hooves transformed into claw like fingers, and her back ones turned into paws, three long black claws sticking out of them. She reached a hand up and threw her mask to the ground as her snout grew in length, and sharp teeth and two venom glands formed within it.
The transformation was quick, but painful. However, she opened her determined filled eyes and looked up to see Flammel in his owl form, leading Eighteen away from Nane. She understood his signal, and spread her wings out to their full length. She sprung off the ground with her back legs, and beat the air fiercely, until she was lifted higher off the ground.
Honeyfur flew straight into the hollow to find her frightened 'sister' cowering against the hollow wall. "Don't worry Nane, it's me, Honeyfur. I'm getting you out of here once and for all." With that, she went over to pick up Nane with her left arm, and hold her against her side, mindful of her still broken right arm that hurt worse because of the transformation. The dragon went to the edge of the hollow, and leaped out, spreading her wings and flying off into the forest toward the pond. Her 'sister' must be thirsty by now, so it couldn't hurt to try and drink something. Plus, it was easier to see things coming at you in a huge clearing.
(Don't worry, the children are fine. They're inside a special membrane that protects them from the transformation ;])
(Aw, no worries at all Han!
