"Crucio?...What is it?Did I do something?" She tried to hide her worry but her eyes betrayed her and nuzzled him gently,pressing her face into his fur.

She didn't say anything and just pressed herself further into his fur."Are you going to be alright?" She got in front of him and looked into his eyes and said with a chocked voice,"Cru?....Are you still my dad?" She tried to make her voice steady and was succesful.She wasn't about to stress him more since he was stressed enough.

She held back tears,trying to be strong.She didn't know what was going on but she did know her ex-dad was in a lot of pain."Oh...I'll always be right here if you need me okay?I love you,even if we aren't family." She kissed him lightly on the face and let go of the tears that had finally forced their way out of her eyes.

I love how no one ever goes after the deer that hurt him though.

I'm going to ask you to leave Crucio alone. As of now he and I are ignoring Tandem.
I don't agree with how he's played and that's not gonna change so /: better to not.

I guess I'm just really irked by this because Crucio's been killed before
and no one's done a thing, and now suddenly Tandem gets killed for vulgarly
insulting him over a period of months, and suddenly everyone's after Crucio.

I don't get why Tandem gets such special treatment. He's not as innocent as some deer seem to think.

It's okay though. /: I love Crucio too much to delete him, but I don't wanna be
afraid to log onto him because I think he's gonna get attacked either. He's my
main.. yeah, killing Tandem wasn't the best way to win any hearts exactly but
I still didn't expect some big uproar like this and neither did he.

He's not in his right mind, he's completely snapped.. he's hardly in control of his
own actions and it hurts me to see him suffer like this, all from something that
stemmed from emotions.

Here's some ideas on this (just out of bystander interest): Why did people not attack Evania? Well, first of all, some people may have supported why she attacked Crucio. Hence, characters wouldn't go after her. I don't know about this, though, but people seemed more aware of cause --> effect in this situation from what I've read. Second, I don't know how many people are aware that Tandem's been insulting Crucio. I continuously read both of your guys' updates out of curiosity and I've never seen anything about direct insulting until today. I could be wrong, though! I'm afraid I tend to miss things.

Third, he may not be innocent, but if that's how deer view him, that's how they're going to react. This is why manipulative characters (like some of my own) can exist; deer react based on what they see, not how the other deer is. So you have to keep in mind that characters see others through a lens, meaning that if they aren't fully informed about one situation, they may attack based on the only info they have (as Ama has done many, MANY times before, which gets her into trouble). Characters are flawed.

Also, people tend to sympathize more with fearful or skittish characters, or at least have more of a wish to help them. Anything "childlike", well, it draws people. Crucio isn't childlike and when he was killed, he was treated more as an "adult" able to handle his own problems. My character Inola is a sadist and a monster, but people tend to try to help her over kill her or combat her (from what I can tell). Why? She acts like a child and has the mentality of one, so she draws sympathy as well.

Look way back at the Baal plot (which I'm not sure you were here for). When Baal killed a fawn, people were after him like there was no tomorrow. When adult deer die, it's more an accepted fact.

I don't think deer hate Cru. They're just seeing him more like the above. Again, I could be wrong, as I'm only looking at this from a secondary viewpoint and not an involved viewpoint.

Ocean: Thanks.. I know. It's difficult to have me stand by and watch a character I love get hurt so badly though. That's why I'm wondering if I'm just not cut out to play someone like him.

Ryff: I am actually seriously considering finding a way to kill him off. He's in nothing but drama now (his life's been going downhill since he got here with everything he's been losing) isn't fun anymore. It's not plot drama like the Akuji stuff, THAT was fun.. but this is social drama. I just need to figure out how to kill something that's immortal now. ><

Understood. I've gone through it with a few of my characters too. Maybe consider giving him a break? I did so with all my characters who got that way and now I'm finding I have muse for them again. It gives the character idea time to roll around in your head and gives you time to improve on them. It really helps a lot and often your character comes back even stronger or more interesting than before.

I totally get what you mean. I've been in your shoes.

Just... gah. I don't want to hurt you by saying no, because I know how this feels. But at the same time, I'm hesitant to try and kill him because I really do think he's a good character.

Yes, one of his enemies is. I spoke with their player extensively tonight, even had a third person help to mediate, but we couldn't come to an agreement so I feel like I have to ignore the character ICly. I don't agree with the way he's played at all. There are characters I dislike, but.. I can't stand him. /: I'm sorry. I just can't. Plus I've had a lot of issues with this player as well due to personal ties to them that go way back before this game.. I don't think we'll ever even be able to remain civil. It's a fireworks show waiting to happen.

But thanks for the advice anyway.. and the track also. ;; <3 And I'm just.. trying to figure out how I could change him. The last time he changed, he got really submissive and ended up depressed. That was almost as difficult to play as this is. I'm not sure where to start..

Ocean: I'm thinking I will give him a little break then.. either to decide if I really do wanna kill him off, or if there's some way I can change him like Fin suggested that would help it. I just know that, no matter what I do to him, when he comes back in-forest he's gonna get attacked because of what happened with Tandem. And until that's done with.. I'm gonna dread getting back on him.

Mhm.. definitely a break. I may pour my efforts into Sparrow, who's young and generally very happy and giddy.. I can act almost OOC on him because of how light-hearted he is so much of the time, it's relaxing. xD So maybe I'll give him some more love these next few days..
