[Gustiro's Biography]

To be very clear you do not need to ask permission to interact with any of my characters in anyway. Friendly hellos or predatory attacks. All I ask is if the interaction is out of aggression make sure it's 100% in character and has no drama-lama out-of-character resentment behind it nor any intentions to manipulate me and those around me in some OOC manner, that's just rude people. If it's all in good humor and fun (no matter how dark rip) then that's a greenlight. With that said I think I may start playing the old way I use to since I can't keep up with everyone anymore anyway. If my characters, Gustiro in particular, become too much for you then you will have to contact me directly and I will put in more effort to avoid bugging you and your characters. Otherwise, Gustiro is going to be Gustiro and a pain in people's butts again. Well, maybe not as bad as he use to be, he is getting up there in age after all.

This loser just needs a overhaul. RIP

He seems to be having a bit of trouble remembering things. Hesitant when approached by someone he hasn't seen in a while because of it. Has fallen back into some old habits when Dinah Moon or his children aren't around.

As always when approaching

As always when approaching Gustiro or the other larger, more dangerous stags of the forest, Kahlan walked a little more slowly than she normally did. Always just a litlte bit ready to move. She was concerned though, and that showed upon her normally very serene face. Gustiro did not look...right. It was as if there was a dark cloud simply hovering above him. He seemed sad, sadder than normal.
"Gustiro?" She asked softly, with a kind tone that showed her genuine worry and sympathy even though she knew not what troubled him. "What's troubling you?"

Gustiro slightly shifted his

Gustiro slightly shifted his head, hidden mostly by the long grass from which he had nestled himself within. Just at the edge of the Birch forest. A short walk through the forest was all it took for him to notice. Now the red bull felt not the energy to even lift his head from where he chose to lay. He did not move to greet the doe as he normally would with touch and affection, greeting her only with the rise of dark eyes. His ears did not even lift when she spoke though she did receive his voice. "Smell weak... yes? Is as good as death. To leave. Is like death."

She was used to the way that Gustiro spoke, but even still that confused her. 'to leave'. Did he mean to leave the forest.
"If you mean leaving the forest," She said continuing with her soft warm tone. "That isn't death. I've left the forest, in fact, I actually live outside of it. It's just other worlds. Other places. Mine is a beautiful world..." She wanted to reassure Gustiro that if someone had just left the forest, that they didn't necessarily die if they left the place. She knew that some did. But, she wanted to make him feel just a little bit better.

He shifted his head again, dragging it back into it's previous position. His voice was low, lazy, as if speaking was bothersome, more an agitation then normal. Though he did not mean to be unfriendly to Kahlan. "Is not death, no. Is feel like dead. No see no more, no? Much like it. Is no good."

Her face became more

Her face became more concerned, clearly something awful had happened to him, but she still wasn't sure exactly what.
"Gustiro...did something pull you out of the forest?" She asked, because that was the only thing that she could think of that would make sense. If he left of his own volition he would probably have gone to his home, and that wouldn't have resulted in a deathlike place...would it? She didn't actually know where Gustiro had been from before the forest.

"What happened that's got you

"What happened that's got you so down. Did one of your does leave the forest?" She asked, that would have made the next most logical sense. Gustiro was protective of his herd of does, her included, or so she assumed, and she knew that the loss of one devastated him, like when Illrose had 'betrayed' him, before they had made up and she and Kahlan had made a truce to make sure that Gustiro wouldn't be forced to choose between them.

"Not sure," murmured the red bull, not moving from his position. "Is smell weak... Is..." He paused, digging up the name. Gustiro rarely used names. "Is Illrose, yes? Is smell weak."

"I'm sure she'll come back," Kahlan replied. "I go away all the time, and I was come back, yes?" She continued, hoping that knowing that if she came and went all the time that Illrose maybe could as well. She wasn't sure if Illrose would come back, or even what happened to her. "But...if she doesn't. You still have all of us. We're here for you." She said, collectively meaning all of his does. She was pretty sure that they wouldn't leave him, but she could really only speak for herself.

Hey there! I had fun having Sorog tumble around with Gustiro; it was his first major fight, and it was interesting! I do hope no offense was taken; everything was IC. Sorog is quite a hot-headed stag; he almost always attacks when provoked. /slapshim DX

Silence for a while. She simply lay there with him, trying to register everything going through her head. Ryff had nothing but a few scrapes and bruises from failed attempts at colliding with the attacking stag, and they were starting to sting a bit now, which didn't help her mood.

"I'll rip his throat out someday..." She whispered, staring straight ahead with a clearly frustrated expression.

The red bull left his bare

The red bull left his bare face buried in the spider's neck fur, had he leaned anymore into her she would have had his whole weight to bear. The skull he normally wore was hugged to his chest, another source of comfort as was the doe though the shame he now felt prevented him from wearing it.
"Is not have hurt him," he murmured into the white fur. Although the stag knew Umay was a doe he used the opposite pronoun. Heart heavy and confused within himself it was evident in his deep voice, distorting the tone.

She felt like a decaying

She felt like a decaying corpse, and probably looked like one as well, that's how much of a wreck that Kahlan was currently. She had blood still dripping from wounds that had yet to seal and clot, and she was probably an assortment of purples from various bruises. She felt even worse, knowing that she couldn't heal herself, or anyone else. She approached Gustiro slowly, it had been hard to get around, one of her legs felt really sore, she'd probably fractured it, she wasn't sure, but she was pain tolerant.
"Hey..." She said weaker than she normally would.

A silver doe, no more than 4'

A silver doe, no more than 4' 10" at the shoulder, decorated with the skull of a Red Deer stag full of horns, trotted up to the beastly stag. Her body bowed slowly, more of a curtsy to the ground, exposing a plum toned stripe from snout to tail before she stood again. Her eyes appeared of cherry wood, wiped with teak oil until dark red-brown, and gazed into the holes of the stag's skull that he wore so proud.

"Hello, dear stranger, I have seen you before." She lifted her slim neck, smelling the air that breezed from behind the stag, toward her flaring nostrils with minor agitation at her accent. Some may not be able to understand a heavy Brit-type talk, but hey, what's it to her?
"And please do tell, what might your name be, my dear gargantuan?"
