Venetian blinds slats, weaved together, then painted on with acrylics using household sponges. The "silhouettes" were created by laying down cutout shapes and sponging paint around them, and peeling the shapes away.

I love the way this turned out. = D I wanted to do a sort of "constellation" or galaxy painting, and use a sort of "cave painting" technique in it, which is how I created the silhouettes of the howling wolf, deer, and flying dove.
Just followed what I felt at the time of painting this. No real planning outside of what technique to use was done.
