Read more. The pictures are kind of big. But, I was testing my scanner and the human eye sees only the pencil marks. My scanner apparently digs deeper and sees all the smudges. Anyone know how to fix this? I scan at 300dpi...

For those of y'all who have laptops, tip your screen away from you and you'll be able to see the smudges more clearly.

I can't say I can help. I have an ancient scanner from before USB even existed that isn't that precise. I suppose you could clean it up in photoshop but that doesn't really "fix" the problem.

I haven't used a scanner (cause I don't do art xD), but it seems an inevitable feature that all scanners will pick up smudges and any other minuscule defects that you wish wouldn't show :3

I can never seem to get my scanner to cooperate. When it actually scans it turns the picture blue more often than not. -_-;

If it's any consolation, these look great!

unforunately cleaning up after scanning is neccessary... but hey, with the right techniques it is an easy job xD
