September 12, 2009 - 5:52am — Bayleen
I've started a new thing in which it kind-of has to do with threads. A thread is a post that someone starts like roleplaying with words.
Example: Bayleen jumped off of the bridge.
Like that. You don't have to use quotation marks if u want. And I'd rather it be more dialogue than actions, since in the game we cannot use words.
I'm going to start it of course and it just flows like a story.
~~~~~~~~~~
Bayleen was lying down beneath a willow tree, lonely and sad.
((Someone please respond!))
smileing at Fleur's eager
"then to the play ground we go!"
before setting off she turned to see if Bayleen needed any help.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bayleen smiled and followed
Fleur ran as swift as the wind, jumping over logs in her way.
Safear matched Bayleen's
the mossy boulders of the playground soon came into view, running up she clawed her way to the top and gave Fleur a sharp smile. "this is the playground." she motioned to the other surrounding rocks with a flick of her feathered tail.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"WOW!!! This is amazing!"
Bayleen trotted ran to get some energy going and then jumped up to the rock and stood next to her daughter.
(Sorry I'm not on too much! I have SO much homework today, but they're little things. I'll try to come on again later so Bayleen can finally die,(<
Safear lept over to join
"i will have to introduce her to my friends later" she thought as she watched a leaf lazily spin by on invizible eddies of wind.
(its okay, ive been getting a ton of homework too XD. Ah, the death scene! D:)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
( Yeah ) The three
The three friends stood there, overlooking the peaceful forest. Watching the leaves slowly drifting to the ground and the doves flutter in the air. They were all enjoying that moment.
in her mind Safear carefuly
"oh Jossecor, I wish you could see this." the silent prair that she knew would never be answered floated up and away into the sky where it faded from existance unknown and unnoticed by anyone but her. Suddenly a stab of panic pirced her heart. How long did Bayleen have left? She could go at any moment or she could last until tommorow. The terrible knowlage sent her mood spiraling earthward. Did Fleur even know that the steady beat of her mothers heart that so calmed her was numbered?
Quickly glanceing at their tranquil faces, she noted nothing wrong just a peacful innocence that reflected in their smiling mouths and soft eyes. How dearly she loved the two just then, she could not imagine life without dear sweet Bayleen, how would Fleur react? Would she be calm and accepting like her mother or devastated and broken? Safear's heart screamed with dispair and frustration. It should not be this way! She felt like there was something more she could do something she could say, but there was nothing just the blank and desolate feeling of defeat that echoed through her strained features.
"Why?" the question rang as if it was a physical sound in her head. "my family is all gone, all of them. how can I stand to lose another?" how much more could her soul take before it gave? It was already battered and broken, what would happen when Bayleen eyes closed forever and she was desperatly clutching at fleeting shreds of memories? Would it be enough to finaly end her? "No, I made a promise, I will not die until fluer is grown and strong." the sudden thought was like a bright beacon of light in her blizzard of dispair. She may not be able to do anything for Bayleen but she could insure that part of her lived on through Fleur.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bayleen inhaled and let out
"Come," she said as she turned to them. "Follow me."
Bayleen leapt off of the rock and began to trot towards the pond.
Fleur turned and went to the opposite edge of the boulder and sprinted towards the other side and leapt off and landed on the ground with a shaky thud and once she maintained her balance, she went over to her mother, smiled, and blushed a little.
Bayleen shook her head and chuckled and waited for Safear.
Safear watched Fleur jump,
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(OH!!!! DID I MENTION U R A
Fleur smiled up at Safear as she trotted behind her mother and replied, "Hehe..Thanks!"
They kept on walking until after some time, they hooves hitting against the lush ground. then, Bayleen could hear water slowly swish from side to side. They had finally arrived at The Pond. Bayleen quickened her paceand the water pouring from The Crying Statue came into sight.
"Over here!" she called as she neared the bridge.
~
Fleur began to run after her mother to catch up to her, her long legs outspread.
(nah, you want to see a good
The walk was soothing, it helped calm Safear's nerves by a great margin. Idily, she watched several colorful birds preforme aireal acrobatics, one landed on one of the numerous pale tree limbs that jutted from the sides of a birch and belted out its happiness to the world.
Her attention was snapped back to the present as the throaty gurgle of rushing water sounded in the late afternoon air. Sligtly opening her jaws she deeply inhailed and noted the heavy mineraly oder that only came with the nearing of a spring fed stream. The air was also thick with extra water that condensed into shining dewdrops on Safear's feathers. "over here!" her attention was drawn to the small bridge that spanned the width of the stream. Weathered by time and nature the bridge was a harkening to the old. Its battered bricks were marred by the strangleing embrace of mold and lichen yet it still held strong determined to support the forests enhabitence for years countless of her present knowlage. She reminded herself drily that she herself far out aged the bridge being over 6 hundered thousand season's old, in retrospect of course, her bodey had not aged in the slightest sence her departure from her previous world. She also had know way of knowing what time period the endless forest rested, it could be a singular pocket of matter, never ageing and uknown by the rest of existance.
But such thougts were merely a distraction. Reverting her attention back to Bayleen she padded after her and Fleur with a gentle smile playing on her lips. Her stomach tigtend and lurched. How long had it been scense she had eaten? But the feeling was not a stranger, her stomach was use to the abuse, many days she would get caught up with friends and forget of her ever present hunger. The next morning she would be forced to attend to her appatite. This routine in no way helped her form which was quite thin, most of her weight was made of her raw lean muscles that were thouroly exercised each day, such a lifestyle left no room for the excess weight of fat. Thus her bodey was lean and wirey perfect for hunting and evasion....as well as combat. Sometimes the pulsing red demand of bloodlust would creep over her vision. When she was a raptor these random feelings of violence were quelled by the hunting of large prey that satisfied her need to proove her skill. Such feelings terrified her, what would happen if such a time would come if her friends were nearby during one of these surges? Normally she would find a small sapling and shred it with her teeth and claws, by the time she was done not much would be left, what was would be buried, along with her old self. Ah, sometimes it was so complicated.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Hehe thanks! I'll also go
Bayleen waited for the two to catch up to her and then ambled on to the pond with Fleur and Safear beside her. She walked through the plants that poked out of the water, lowered her head and lapped up some of the icy water.
Fleur strayed a little bit from her mother and rubbed her side against a tree close to the pond because she had an irritating itch. Suddenly, a pinecone dropped from the tree after she rubbed her pelt against it. It hit her back and fell next to the pond shore. Startled, she twirled her head around to see what hit her and noticed the pinecone on the ground. She bent down and took a bite out of the pinecone. Fleur liked how it tasted and turned out she ate the whole thing.
Bayleen looked back at her once she took her last bite and asked, "Dost thee like it?"
Fleur nodded and grinned.
Bayleen chuckled once more and then decided to get her own food. She walked up to a tree and ate some of the few blossoms that clung to it and went back to Safear and her daughter.
(your welcome.^^ sorry for
Safear took a few swipes of water to cool her parched throat. A dull thunk behind her caused her to turn and watch as Fleur descovered the taste of pine cones. After watching Bayleen eat also, her stomach roared its displeauser at the long starvation. Her mouth watered as a squirrel paused at the base of a tree. Her mucsles instinctively tensed and she coiled herself into a pretatory spring. But glanceing at Fleur caused her to relax. It would not be suitable to kill and devour a small creature in front of a newly born fawn, she hardley ever done it in front of her friends let alone in front of those wide curious eyes. Instead she offered a nervous chuckle and made a show of preening her featheres.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(It's ok!!! XD Really! It's
Fleur smiled and explored some more, with Bayleen watching her, to make sure she was safe. Fluer then came across two combined statues and looked at them curiously.
Bayleen came up from behind her and whispered in the fawns' ear, "These are the Twin Gods, FleuraLune. They make the seasons change, bring life and death. Anything you can think of. They are the masters of this forest. But they can give and take away as well as throw obstcles of life situations at you. So maintain a strong faith in them my daughter, for then you will live a long and happy life and get through your troubles."
Fleur nodded and bowed to the statue of the twin gods in respect.
Bayleen heard the bawling of fawns not too far away from where they were. She turned her head in the direction of the many voices and noticed Rev sleeping with some of his friends lying down next to him and his four fawns running about close by. Bayleen grew sad and shook her head, and thought to herself, 'You foolish doe. You dote someone in whom you cannot be with. He is gay, and always will be. You dare even got your hopes up. Well, now thee knows better.'
Then she shook her head, knowing that it doesn't even matter anymore since she will be gone anyways.
Sensing her mothers' frustration she got up from her bowing position and looked to where her mother was looking and saw the fawns, Rev, and other deer, but had no intrest in seeing any of them.
"Momma, have you ever had a mate?" she asked rather quietly.
Bayleen turned to her and said, "No dearest. I do not, I have fallen in love with two deer, but neither of them were meant to be." She glanced at Rev, then back to her daughter.
Fleur's ears went back in sadness. For her mother to not have a mate to be there for her.....was a crime to Fleur. She always thought that deer had that perfect match. Always going to be someone out there...waiting for them. And they wouldn't even know they are existing at that very moment, both looking for a mate.
"But love always finds a way, right?" Fleur asked with sadness and hope in her voice.
"Sometimes and sometimes not. But as long as you have someone to love; yours friends or your family, you'll be ok," Bayleen replied trying to cheer her daughter up as she nuzzled her and grinned at Safear.
(thanks. XD) Safear returned
Safear returned her smile and gazed over the hill. The sun was sinking lower into the sky, casting orange hued illumination through out the forest. The pond shimmered at the orange spectrum, reflecting the heavens above. Some deer were already scratching out their beds in the soft loamy soil. For a time she silently dwelled on Fleur. What would she look like when she was an adolecent, what about an adult? Would she be shy and reserved or outgoing and independent? Safear shook her had and allowed a breif chuckle to escape her. So many outcomes for one child.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fleur smiled and nuzzled her
Bayleen then turned and walked down the little hill in which the Twin God statues were and walked towards the bridge and flicked her stubby tail, signaling for them both to follow.
Fleur walked after her mother.
Bayleen then sat on the bridge and watched the sun lower until it was sunset. Fleur lied down next to her and also watched. Bayleen knew that it was time to break the news to Fleur and looked at Safear slightly worried.
Safear sat, fidgeting on the
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bayleen gave a nod and the
"Fleur. I must tell thee something. I won't be around for that much longer," she said growing nervous.
Fleur looked at her as tears come into her eyes as she cries, "What do you mean!? You're gonna die!!!! You can't leave me-You'll never leave me!"
"I will always be with you, even when you don't see me. And Safear will watch over you after I'm gone.This day is my last! Please understand fair Fleur. I know this is hard for you, but momma is dying."
"Why can't the gods heal you?!" Fleur wailed as she sank into her mothers' side. "You said they can give and take away. They're taking you away from me!"
Bayleen held her close with tears cascading down her cheeks, her strength getting weaker and weaker as the sun was setting faster and faster. She choked out these words, "It is my destiny. Everyone dies, Fleur. Please know that. Someday Safear will die, and then you too. But in replace of it, something new and...wonderful."
"Goodbye mommy!!!! I LOVE YOU!!! I'LL MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!" Fleur cried as she watched her mother slowly die.
"And I love you too. More than you can imagine. More than you can imagine." Then Bayleen looked at Safear and more of the watery, salty tears came into her eyes as she said, "Dear friend. Although I have not known you for too long, I feel you are part of my family. Take good care of Fleur. I love you dear one."
Safear staggered up blind
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bayleen smiled and lied down
"Goodbye dear friends. Thus Bayleen ends. I love you both. You'll see me soon," Bayleen said as she was breathing deeply.
Fleur leaned against Safear as she watched her mother as she the tears dropped to the brick bridge. She etched a little closer to her mother, she heard her mother begin to hum. She was humming her lullaby...The lullaby she'd always sing to her at night when she couldn't sleep or had a nightmare...oh how she'd miss it....
Bayleen began to sing Fleur's lullaby.
"Baby mine
Don't you cry
Baby mine
Dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part
Baby of mine
Little one when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
From your head to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows.
But you're so precious to me
Cute as can be, baby of mine.
(Fleur sings along >>>) Baby mine, baby mine. "
(Now the moon and stars are out)
As Bayleen's last tear left her eye, her voice slowly faded away and her body slowly disappeared and a white puff of smoke lifted up from where she was and floated to the sky until they could see it no more.
Fleur cried for hours as she knelt close to the comfort of Safear.
( ((((((( AW I am SO close to tears (((((()
Safear sat up and sent a
Fleur cried herself to sleep, dreaming of her mother. The many tears that fell down her cheeks made a black mark of where they fell.
(Like on a cheetah, it has that black mark coming from the edge of the eye to the muzzle in which it looks like it has been crying? She has that now too.)
Safear gently nuzzled Fleur.
(wow thats unique, it will be pretty. ^^)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Yeah, I wanted her to be a
Fleurs' chest was rising up and down, up and down. The forest looked very mystical as the moons' light gleamed on the trees and lake.
Safear stayed awake as long
(i dont think anyone has thought of it yet.^^ is this the end of our little role play? )
"Momma....mmm....mother?! Where are you!" Fleur murmured in her sleep. "You left me! I'm over here!!! Mo-"
Startled she awoke, panting from her nightmare. It was morning now. She could hear the birds tweeting up in the trees, the squirrels scurrying across the ground, and the doves flapping their wings as they soared in the sky.
Fleur watched the beaty of the forest and wished her mother was here with her, but she knew that somewhere, she was watching over her.
(oh, alright. It would be
Safear had already been up for awhile, watching the sun slowly climb into the sky and flood the forest in morning light. Startled by Flure's sudden outburst she whiped her head around and stared curiously at the distressed fawn. Quickly determining that she had a nightmare she gave her a qick lick. "shhh, you were dreaming, its alright." Safear winced at her mistake, she would have probrably liked a nuzzle, stupid her, she would have to learn the mothering ways of mammals a bit better.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fleur snuggled against
(I know that was kind of random, but she does like to think alot, which leads to daydreaming.
A small smile flitted
(s'okay, Safear daydreams all the time, it even says to on her bio.^^)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fleur nodded and said, "I
Walking down into a natural depression surrounded by towering beech trees Safear pointed to the heavy clusters of blue berries. "These are Blue berries, i dont like them very much but im sure you'll find them dilicious!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fleur followed and then saw
She leaned forward, sniffed them, and then took a bite out of one of the blue berries. It was very sweet and soft to her and she loved the flavor.
"This is really good!" she chirped in joy and she pecked at more of the berries.
Safear smiled at her eager
"just dont eat too many or you'll get a stomach ache!"
while fleur was eating Safear quietly slipped away and prayed that she didnt notice. pranceing to the edge of the blueberry bowl she quickly located several birds and took her pretatory stance.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FleuraLune continued to peck
'Who could it be? And why him? Why didn't he love her back?' she thought as the many questions spun around in her little brain. She decided to ask Safear once she had come back from...well, wherever she went. But until then, she plopped there...munching on more berries >.<
"ahh." finaly full for the
"oh, Fleur!" the small fawn was covered in dark blue berry juice and her stomach bulged with all the berries she had eaten. But she just couldnt help laughing, she was so messy!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fleur hadn't even know how
(i just randomly thought
Both she and Safear laughed for a good long while before she brushed the tears from her eyes and sat up. "c'mon we better clean you up at the pond." small giggles still escaped her every time she looked down at Fleur.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fleur just nodded, still
"Safear?" she asked. "Who did my mother fall in love with. The two stags she spoke of when we were at the statue of the Twin Gods?"
(DARN I got to go to bed Goodnight!))
Safear stiffened at the
"there was a young stag named Rev, that your mother was good friends with. Over time she began to feel more for rev than just friends. But it was not to be, Rev was....gay. To be gay is not a bad thing, it just means that you like the same gender as yourself, so he could not feel anymore than friends for your mother. This made her very sad, she was even sadder when he fell in love with another stag, Terk. As for the other stag i am afraid i do not know who he was....."
(i really dont know sorry XD)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(That's ok! XD The other
"Gay? That's not right...I thought the Twin Gods made us to be as "Doe and Stag", together," Fleur spoke, slightly disgusted with the thought of two stags or two does actually together as mates.
(okay XD, woah its like
"they also made the forest for us to be happy, sometimes "doe and stag" just dont feel right, why should someone continue to live miserable because its not how things are suppost to be? I dont influence your judgement on this matter but im just asking for you to see things from their point of veiw."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fleur thought a bit.
"I guess I could see why they would want a mate for their same gender," she said after a minute or two pondering about the subject.
(lol wowza! XD About 3 hr difference.)
Safear smiled. "see, you are
"is all the juice gone?" she inspected her to see if all traces of blue were gone.
(yeah, i probly wont be on much longer D:)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(AWWW Well, before you go,
Fleur smiled and then looked around herself and saw that the berry juice was all gone.
(ACK! I got caught by MY momma lol I g2g soon Byez!)
