New OOC DeerMonster - Set decided!

So recently, I got myself a new OOC deer, as my old one (Uil) just...wasn't suiting me very well anymore. I was in the middle of attempting to revamp her, and giving her the owl-head that she had in the beginning. However, something just wasn't sitting well. That's where this beast comes in.

Meet Raxia, a cervine chimera. Not sure where she popped up from, she just kind of came to me. Many things were subconsciously influencing me at the time, which I just happened to draw out after having a huge urge to. I liked the design so much, that I kept it. One thing lead to another, and Raxia became my OOC deer.

Now you may wonder why she looks like she does? Does she look monstrous just because it's cool? Well, yes and no. Like I said before, many things were influencing me subconsciously. Raxia consists of a cervine body, canine paws, a feline head, and feathers. These are some features of just a few of my favorite animals: cervines, felines, avians, and canines. Scales to represent reptilians and other scaled things, as well as dragons, which I've always had a fascination with. The horns and spiked on her back are not really significant except for my love of strange, monstrous beasts. Her curved teeth (yes there's another on the other side of her face) also represent this, but also lend an eastern, Fuu-dog like feel (another thing that I am fascinated by). That, and I have two wisdom teeth growing somewhat skew, however, they don't bother me much, if at all. So on Raxia they became those nice curvy teeth you see (part of the influence for having those teeth there also come from Skyward Sword, as I was playing through the Earth Temple at the time Raxia jumped into my mind). Her spikes are also very flexible, much like rubber, not to mention very, very hard to break. So no worries for her if she happens to roll on her back. Her colours are also colours as they appeared in my mind for her as well as some of my favorites.

TL;DR Raxia is a subconscious blending of things I like that found their way as a new OOC deer-monster....thing. We'll call her a Chimera for simplicity's sake.

Now, enough rambling, this girl needs a set if I'm to play her in the forest. I've decided on the Kirin pelt, as although it is completely the wrong colour, it represents her scales very well (not like there's a matching pelt for her anyway). But I am stuck as to what mask or antlers she will be wearing. I've decided she'd sometimes wear jacarandas in her antlers and spikes, which will be represented by default antlers with purple flowers. Yet I am unsure what she will wear when she's not decorated in flowers. What I'm really stuck with, though, is a mask. I'm not sure what will best represent her white face. So I'm going to need some help.

Secretary Bird Mask, Space Beluga Mask.

I have two masks that this made me think of. Secretary bird and the DotD mask. Secretary bird because of the shape, the color, and perhaps the tiny mowhawks. Only thing that doesn't fit is how it would make your deer look expression wise. It's very serious.
DotD mask because of the color, the markings sort of match, toothy grin. But it may just be tooo silly. And it's very flat. Not really snouty.

S'pose skull mask is the easy answer..

For the antlers, what about gazelle or the magpie feathers? They're on the small side but both spikey in appereance. Gazelle moreso. Magpie matches better with the kirin pelt.
Oh! Maybe take a look at the carnival antlers too. Maybe their style fits the appereance more, with the bright colors.

Whoa, so many suggestions!

Whoa, so many suggestions! Let's break it down.

Antlers:
All the suggestions are good, though I think I am leaning towards Antelope, Magpie, and Venetian Carnival Antlers. Especially Antelope antlers, as they seem to have the kind of curve that is closest to her horns. But we'll see! I might end up going with another choice. XD

Masks:

Secretary I was hesitanf about at first on account of Sektry already using that mask, but when I think about it, it would be a very good choice, actually. DOTD mask would be lovely too, but sadly, I don't think I'd be able to get ahold of one. Skull masks I would like to avoid on account of the stereotypes surrounding them (bawww another mawnstur durr with a skull mask it probably eats fawns and does bawww) and the fact that I would not be able to acquire one at this time of the year, anyway.

Ok. Anything else someone wants to suggest or is for/against?

Hmm for the antlers I'd

Hmm for the antlers I'd personally go with the Golden Long Antlers since.. they're golden and give the set a bit of colour. Gazelle Antlers I think are nice too, but as we don't have any pink to purple pelts (here's something we really need!) they just don't have that brightness. Though they'd be more fitting in their form and they also resemble the spikes. Magpie in this case would suit nicely for the feathery stuff.

Screw stereotypes! If it fits it fits. Can't get rid of judgment if everyone shies away from breaking them. But fair enough, considering Halloween is far away.
Other than that I can't think of much. I think the previously mentioned DoTD and Secretary would be good ones.

@Unplugged (you ninja!): In that case, I'll have to try both on to see what fits! Maybe use that fancy deer creator flash I've seen floating around on DA to better help make up my mind. And about the masks, seeing as I might be able to get the DOTD, I'll most likely go with that one. If skulls didn't have the issues they had (and weren't like, EVERYWHERE), I would have probably used one.

Pardon the double post guys, but as I was double-windowing, I got the golden butterfly antlers. And I was thinking - perhaps those would be a bit more fitting? Opinions on this, if you would be so kind?

@FaunGrae: For gold antlers, it would be between aforementioned long antlers and golden butterfly antlers. (I tried to get gazelle antlers but TEF was all LOLNOPE). So yes, good suggestion! They seem to be getting quite a few votes.

And man, if the Kabuki mask was white it would have totally been a choice. Come to think of it, I think we need more white masks. :B

Alright, I've decided to

Alright, I've decided to settle on DOTD mask. I'll try and get Misako to help me with that as soon as possible.

In the meantime, I've made a comparison between the Long antlers and the Golden Butterfly ones. Note that I do not have the mask here yet - that will come in time.
