Chapter 4 - Sliding Sands

After a short flight something comes into view in the distance, a wall of some kind, as we get closer the cloth snakes seem to fly over it. As my snake friend flys over the wall below I see something curious, the sand below seems to move like water, flowing down like a river. I gaze in wonder as the setting sun shines upon the flowing sands and makes it sparkle like a million diamonds, before I notice the snake decends and flys low to the sand, probably saying its time for me to land.

I jump off onto the flowing sand and start to slide like I'm skiing down a snowy slope or perhaps sliding down a giant waterslide of sand, my mind Is overcome with a pleasent rush of excitement as I slide my way down the rishing sands, weaving between the natural rock formations and bits of ruins sticking out, leaping off some buildings like jumps. It seems my fun has attracted the cloth snakes who rush down the sliding sands with me, flying beside me as if they want to race, something I'm more than happy to take up with them. After a bit I slide into a narrow corridor and launch out the other side, slowly floating back down into some kind of pit, I have a look around for any cages or runes, freeing a few of the cloths and grabbing a run hidden up high with the help of my fabric friends.

It also seems my earlyer meditation buddy has arrived here a bit earlyer than me, though he was already heading for a second river of sand to race down, while I was grabbing the rune, though hard to be sure if it was him and not another traveller, we all seem to wear similar clothes and also have these curious scarfs. Not long after I follow after the other traveller and get ready for a second round of sand sliding, leaping off a wall that was encircling the pit and landing into the rushing sandsm racing between some stone gates sticking out of the sand, weaving happily between them.

After a short time I see a large ruin ahead with the sand rushing through it, racing at speed through the building and looking to my right to see a beautiful site between the pillars, the sun setting behind the mountain with the light, my destination, I'd almost forgotten about it I had been having such fun, I pass through the last of the bulding and head into a small cave area, ahead I see some light and the end of the sliding run, launching out of it and trying to float down into the deep cavern below. As I touch down I look around this dark blueish cave, once more a few ruins around me and once more a vision pedistool.

After a brief look around I sit infront of the pedistool and meditate, once more recieving the vision from the white robed figure, this time the story seemed to have advanced, the civilisation has grown more and more, becoming very large in scale and seemingly entering into a golden age. The vision begins to fade again, and the path ahead revealed for me. I move on passing through the entry way, moving cautiously, sensing something ahead that feels malicious and dangerous, whatever is giving me that feeling I don't plan to find out what it is personally...
