Inky black contrasted with

Inky black contrasted with the pale tan fur of the once-antlered female as Zora leant against her mother, a small grin forming on her features. Ice blue orbs flicked up to Alice occasionally; her vision was still not fully developed, but she could make out the basic shape of things - just about, at least. Exhaling loudly, the child buried her nose in the silky fluff, breathing in her mother's scent with a giggle.

"Hello, Moru... how has life been treating you?" Alice smiled, hoping to make a good impression on the doe, flicking her ears back and forth like wildfire.

The little fawn adorned in

The little fawn adorned in feathers chirped happily and rubbed against the side of a stranger doe, her solid dark earthen brown eyes smiling and warm. Small small wings fluttered on her shoulders as she looked upwards to the skull masked doe.

"Hello stranger!" The little doechild sang, her voice like that of a young swallow as she was in fact partially related to the bird species. "Do you like to sing?" Each word that fluttered from her young child face came out in song, up-beat, and lovely.

Alice, at first suprised,

Alice, at first suprised, jumped back when she saw the little fawn beside her. She squinted the sleep out of her eyes and spoke with her deep, demonic yet calming voice to the child.

"Hello," she smiled, "wish to rest with me today?" the doe flicked her white tail back and fourth.

Trotting once around the doe,

Trotting once around the doe, then digging lightly at the soil below, she nodded. "Yes, absolutely!" The little fawn girl darted quickly to the willow nearest them and broke of a small vine, then gathered a few small twigs in her mouth and skipped cheerily back to the doe. She placed the twigs in a small circle very close to the doe, then lay herself on top of them as though it were a nest.

A humming sound came constantly out of her, as though she had a million songs in her head and just couldn't decide which she wanted to sing. "My name is Kyria, what is yours?" She sang out the question, chirping slightly at the end of her words.

Alice grinned through her

Alice grinned through her skull as she watched the little child take the branches from the willow. She was stunned, though, when she began making them into a sort of nest. It did look awfully nice so the doe could not resist laying down. She pressed her front legs under her and her back legs to the side, then threw her head on the ground, and when she relaxed the sounds of the forest sharpened.

"Kyria... Kyria..." she spoke, moving her lips delicatly, as if she liked saying that name. "Mine is Alice, but you can call me Ali". A grin tured into a smile as she waited for the fawn to settle. Quickly she removed the skull off her face with a simple gesture of her hooves. The cervid seemed to take a great liking to her.
