OMG I was playing with Harmony too!! 8D Except your Harmony pictures look 121234869436 times more fantastic than mine, LOL - you have a wonderful style that I've always loved, in particular those large expressive eyes ♥ I adore the antlers and poppies too C: I can't believe you did this with a mouse ;A;
Starling, Thank you so much! <3 I haven´t uploaded this to DA... trying to keep most of random scribbles away from there.
My gallery is full of deer already. ^^;
Apparanza, Are you kidding me, the ones you made of Friiha to her bio are awesome!
Haha, but thank you! My working with mouse is more like fighting with it rather than "drawing"... =D
Ravynn, Thanks! Wow, you think so? I´m flattered, you´re so awesome yourself with this kind of techniques. <3
It´s kind of funny how much time I used for this, but I guess it kind of shows in how many textures there´s piled up..
I adore the turquoise track in the fur. Scampering untamed with the violet under the flowers, fits her character so.
The texture is vague, yet at the same time feels smooth, light, just feathers.
Her profile comes across as belonging to an intangible being, non-human, non-ungulate, non-bird, perhaps for the detailed eye and lips caught in the shadowed expression.
Impressive. And I love the angles of the mask, the chin and the ears.
A stunning depiction, the details, the shading and the posture.
The patches of yellow seem out of place, though, for when some light hits an object, every shade in the palette changes corresponding to the color temperature.
And there are two sources of light contradicting one another in this image.
Thank you for another very insightful comment.. I love how you describe things, you use words to create instant mental images to my brains, if that makes any sense. <3
I´m actually a bit proud of the first image myself even though it was pretty much a experiment. There´s something awesome in scribbly Harmony-textures, I like the wild feeling they make, like you´re not able to completely control what the colors deside to do.
You´re right with the yellow on the second one... it felt a bit flat to me so tried to make some depth on it by adding some warm color to the fore-ground. It would probably been better if I had just left it be. *shrug* Too bad that you can´t really fix Harmony-pictures anymore and using photoshop feels a bit like cheating, haha.
Woaah! That is amazing. I
I really really like this. Is it posted on DA? -wants to fave it-
