I did this for Draak for a trade. This is my first deer art and I post it here too because I wanted to know what do you think for a first try. Be honest, please.
I made it on paper, I'm not very good on computer. ^-^'
This is a really cute drawing >w< Keep it up! It'll be even better when your able to get a Graphics Tablet or something. Personally I can't draw on the computer either XD I wuv the hair <3
But sometimes I do this:
I draw on paper then I transfer the drawing on my computer, I open PaintTool SAI, open my drawing, create a new layer above its, redraw the lines, colorize it, make the shading/lighting etc... AND HERE ! It's just like if I made it entirely on computer !
Haha, well I know one person who draws with their Mouse and it's brilliant. (Her youtube is RainbowCharizard if you would like to check her out!) She does art for a cutesy little kids game called Animal Jam that I used to play. I think you'll be shocked at her ability without a Graphics Tablet! XD

My main problem is that I can't draw without seeing the pencil and what I draw at the same time. Graphic Tablet without a screen where you can see what you're drawing always piss me off. Now that I'm thinking about that, I just discovered something called Inkling, it allows the artists to draw on any kind of paper and even in a notebook ! I think it follows your movement with your pencil and redo the same on the computer in the same time, just like a graphic tablet !
That would be perfect for me !
