Happy holidays guys! We put the tree up today so I wanted to do something nice for you all

Also, below is a list of 15 reasons why I love this season:

#1 - You can buy deer stuff all over the place. I love to splurge on reindeer stuff.

#2 - I have some weird fascination with christmas lights. The glow of colors makes me feel very happy, and the glow of white christmas lights gives off a solemn feeling. It's hard to explain.

#3 - I love giving gifts and seeing the person's reaction when they get it. I have a great time finding stuff to give.

#4 - I also love receiving gifts XD.

#5 - Jen's Secret Santa has become a new and exciting event for me. I think I'm obsessed

#6 - People are generally very giving during this time. I try to do what I can to make the holidays a little better for those in need, by giving what I can to the Salvation Army, buying an Angel Tree gift, donating to Toys for Tots, ect. This year we're actually going to buy a goat for a family in another country.

#7 - No school for about a month

#8 - My birthday is five days after Christmas

#9 - The smells of cinnamon, peppermint, and apple cider are just to die for.

#10 - I love bundling up on cold days. By this time I've been so tired of sweating during the summer that the cold air is kind of pleasing...kind of...

#11 - I hate to say it, but there's a kind of magic to Christmas music. Even though I hear it every day at work, it does seem to bring out a sense of nostalgia and cheer.

#12 - There's something about the weather and the air. It gets dryer down here so we don't get as much rain, which is good because we generally get a lot of it during the Summer. Also getting to wear jackets, coats, and occasionally a scarf is pretty fun, at least for me.

#13 - On Christmas Eve we have a big party at my house. It's always really fun, and especially this year it will be because December 24th is Brandy's (my dachshund) birthday.

#14 - I never get any sleep the night before Christmas. I'm always so excited about the next day that I actually have to play video games, chat on the computer, and/or listen to music to get myself sleepy.

#15 - Then I always wake up early and have to wait for my parents to come get us for Christmas. It's always very exciting. I think I'm just the happiest I ever am on Christmas Day.
