Right, so I’m going to type so much right now that my fingers will be reduced to little nubs and you can’t stop me. And I know I already completely drowned you with my words but IDGAF CAUSE ILU and people should know my incredible happiness so I don’t seem like an ungrateful prick and I like showering you with love SO THERE.
First of all I just want to say it is incredible how you in seconds just made me see a scene in my head. Viktor in the middle of the crowd as you stand in a gigantic city, neon lit signs everywhere in a language you do not understand as it is night; a city unknown to you. It is crowded, and people walk around you, anonymous people rushing by all on their way.
And there he stands. Mute Viktor in the crowd; making the cutting motion with his fingers as his icy white eyes look straight at you, everything in slow motion, the world twisting and turning. I love it. My mind went to places with this drawing.
The lighting is beyond excellent. I love love LOVE the lighting on the hat; it is so soft! And it looks so warm. Really something he’d wear, something he can hide himself under. The smiley is ironic because he doesn’t ever smile; hence why I like it so much. The symbolism behind the text fascinates me still, I love how you linked it with his muteness and desire to speak.
But those eyes. Those eeeeeyes. They captivated me.
The colors in this are beyond excellent; and so are the details and rough brush strokes. Everything, I love it. Love how you did his tattoos, love the clothing, the lighting. Everything. Thank you SO much for this. This was one hell of a surprise when I first saw it.
