If only for a moment, she allowed her mind to wander to memories left to wither and fade.
She remembered it well; her teeth greeting flesh, ripping and tearing without so much as the thought that she had to end this.
She remembered him managing to hook her, slam her to the ground; she felt his jaws wrap tight on her back, and she remembered the sensations and sounds of flesh being sliced.
She remembered his hooves preparing to crash down on her, to finish her off; with what strength she had left, she managed to move just enough to avoid getting killed. But not enough to completely get away - she felt his hooves just tap her side, and she heard the distinct cracking of bones. He had hit her ribs - blood fled from her mouth as she cried out.
She could feel him close by, the tip of his skull just inches from her ear; this wasn't exactly how she remembered it, but perhaps faded memories were often twisted by dreams.
How she wanted to tear into him more, show him just what she was capable of. She heard his voice, a taunting coo.
"You can't win."
She all she could do to pick her head up, and the growl that spilled forth was garbled, traces of whining from the pain. But her voice was steady and venomous.
"Fuck you."

Just something I felt like doing for the last few days. Interestingly inspired by
this, yet somehow drawn to
this. What a mucked up world we live in ROFL ;;
Akuji and Lacie's thylacine form, for anyone who is confused, rofl. This happened a long ago, but yeah 8'D And for anyone who is wondering, yes, Lacie's thylacine form has gotten a bit of a change - stripes end just a little ways down her tail, and her tail is black coloured now. I stumbled across a gold mine of thylacine studies on DA, and I've been really itching to draw them, fkskfks
I remember when this
Lovely (:
Your anatomy improves so
I love how you write, too.
Before i even read the story I had an inkling of what this was about.
Pandoras - Eee, thank you. <3
Kaoori - fkskfksfks ;;
Thank you so much, on both fronts. fkskfsk <3!
Heehee, some things are hard to forget, I suppose. It's quite a powerful memory for Lacie; kind of hard to forget the day you almost died, no?
