The Oak Guardian

A flash of red past the trees
The darkness creeping and overcoming
Yet she is not afraid to show herself
She reveals her body, slender but strong
The doe does not ask for much of you
Just a gentle smile and a promise you can keep
"There in the center of this Forest is a great tree
Please look after it for me, it is very special
The Old Oak has been lonely of late
Very few come to visit her and listen to her wisdom
I only ask that you sit within, just a moment each day
And she will speak to you wondrous tales,
And give her deepest secrets."

And with a flick of her tail, she turns and walks away
But her head was raised high, and she turns and sees you one last time.
"Remember what I have asked of you,
And you will be rewarded grandly."
You blink for just a second, and she is gone.
But the words linger in the air just for a moment.

firST of aLL-- a Huge Gay™ but awful at flirting or really anything in the romantic field so just get ready for a lot of staring,,,, in general Tog can be a bit awkward at first (especially around fawns), so she'll take to stalking her subject of interest before approaching ~~if she does at all,,,,,,~~

Easily assumed to be a feral being because of her choice to not speak unless absolutely necessary-- or around her very close friends/family. Relies heavily on instinct and body language, especially in times of danger, survival, and uncertainty. Possesses human mind, intelligence, and emotion. Although not a being of much speech, that might not keep her from swearing,,,

Tog has a certain kind of unintentional warmth about her, yet the doe's preference for privacy may also make her seem aloof at first. Will not often deny one of sharing her company, as long as no maliciousness is sensed. Is very civil, even strictly so around strangers. Doesn't like small talk, but will do it if needed. Attracted to the misunderstood, lonely, unique, and exotic. Independent by nature.

Generally does her best not to over-indulge in extreme emotions of all kinds unless appropriate. Very spiritual, into energies that different minerals emit, astrology, and herbology.

When in a positive relationship, Tog gives her all and is a quietly passionate spirit. She nurtures and protects. Whoever becomes close to her will have her full loyalty. Because of her deep affection, though, she may become possessive or over-protective. Every close relationship she develops may have a tinge of maternal instinct involved. Can also show some tough-love at times. Does her best to be honest without being blunt, but speaks her mind regardless. A deep bond with Tog takes time. Has no interest in anything one-sided or shallow. If she thinks there is no reason to continue an existing relationship or if she has been done wrong, she will cut the relationship off.

Tog is a fairly benign being. Though they do no harm to others, they might not always stop another from doing harm. This is because of their deep-rooted value of privacy and not wanting to interfere with another's drama or business to prevent from making it her own. The only exceptions are if someone were to keep her from caring for the forest, involves/at the request of her loved ones, or fawns/children.

I had a dream that Tog turned

I had a dream that Tog turned into a really flat Crayon drawing and she started calling herself "Flower Crown Deer" and she started calling everybody by their uh.. well like she started calling them not by their name but by their very basic level characteristics, so I think at one point she called a lionish deer "Grumpy Mom Cat" but then she called Haroten "Ru Paul's Drag Race" and I remember laughing in my dream. I think I woke myself up laughing too lol
