Kumiko had a bit of a flashback when she saw Atiq standing next to Ark.

Even though Atiq is a stag, that didn't stop the flashback from coming. You see, Atiq looks a lot like Serenity- Kumiko's mother. So when she saw Atiq with the fawn, a few blurry memories from her fawnhood returned.

So sorry Atiq is you get offended with the idea that you reminded her of a doe. It just kinda came to mind.

Atiq: Now I understand. I was worried about you for a bit. I apologize for any grief I cause you. I understand fully, I feel the same about the memory of my mother, though I do not even remember her face. Hopefully I am still considered a friend.

Yes, of course you're still a friend. I accept the fate of my family quite some time ago. It doesn't make the pain easier to deal with though.

Please do not blame yourself though for my pain...It is not your fault that you remind me of my mother...And I am sorry if I made you feel bad or if you don't like the idea of reminding me of a doe even though you're a stag.

Atiq: You did not make me

Atiq: You did not make me feel bad, I guess today is just a gloomy day for me. I've just been feeling distressed and confused. But tomorrow will be a new day. Hopefully a warm one, the nonstop snow has been making all of my favorite sleeping spots too cold ><
And you are not the first to think of me as a doe, that's happened before, so i don't mind. Maybe it's the flowers...............
