i quite like the way that her hair and her skin, are similar colours and at the two bits that come down over her face it doesnt look like hair [this might be my colourblindness]

I can see why you´re proud of it, you should. It´s not completely polished piece, but it actually gives her more character, how her head and face is the focus of the picture and rest of her looks kind of like fading away. <3
Really, really lovely, the rough technigue makes so special feeling in this. her face and part of her hair almost seem 3D from some places, somehow makes me think of a photo where she moved just a little bit just when the picture was taken making it slightly unsharp (<- is that even a word..? ô_o ). The technique makes it look also almost traditional media especially her hair.
