I guess I'll just dump this quick-and-dirty sketch here. ^^; Character creation ramblings below the cut.

So a million years ago I popped in, said hi, and never showed up much after that. A major reason for that is that, where TEF is concerned, I really want to get more involved in the creative side of things but I struggle with finding inspiration. Maybe it's the fact that the game and setting are so open ended, and everyone's interpretation of the forest is so different and unique. It makes it hard to settle on one thing and stay with it.

On top of that, I've found that creating characters for me is less... going through a bunch of traits from a list and more a matter of waiting for the character to reveal themselves from the depths of my unconscious. It sounds silly and maybe it is, but tonight my little OOC avatar showed his true colors.

I don't know too much about him yet. I get the impression he was an egotistical hunter, sentenced to TEF purgatory in death to atone for his sins against nature. He has a tendency to puff himself up and pretend he's way more important than he actually is, but it's all meant to distract from the fact that he barely has any idea how to even LIVE in the forest as a wild-ish creature or what's even real any more and it's the only way he knows how to mask fear and confusion, really.

It'll be fun whipping this jerk into shape. >w> Provided I don't edit things a million times over (I will!).
