Felted Spyrre (fixed)

Well, it was only a matter of time that I´d try felting a TEF-deer... I think she´s pretty cute, even though there´s something about the face I don´t like and don´t know how to fix... and I´m running out of the red wool. Oh well. The face was clearly the hardest part to make. Almost drove me crazy. o_O
I wish I´d had some green plastic eyes for her, not sure if the felted ones look very good.

Ok, I ended up fixing her by making her more sturdier (she was so flimsy that she´d fell over if you just looked at her direction ^^; ) and fixed up the face. Still not completely happy with it, but it´s a LOT better than it was. We´ll see if I´ll end up still trying to fix her... probably not though. <_<

That's so precious. I honestly can't see anything wrong with the face, it's adorable, but I suppose you have another specific view of it since you're her creator. I really like her body and your use of different shades. I can imagine her wagging her tail it like a dog too, so cute. Theehee.

Saosin, I don´t think it looks much like her, somehow the face looks wrong.. as a random felted TEF-deer its not that bad. Her profile turned out good enough, atleast. Thanks. <3

flyleaf, Thank you! Atleast I tried to make her like that, it´s a bit insane how much time I used on something so small than her mouth, heh. =D

Sighthoundlady, Agh, I forgot to take some in-process-photos again.... I was just spontaneously going to make something small while watching tv, and then ended up felting the whole night. Oops. Somehow everything I make ends up a lot bigger than i was planning... ^^;

I believe that plastic eyes

I believe that plastic eyes would only spoil it. In the matter of fact, the felted ones are what caught my interest the most. It creates such a fitting cute expression.

PLK217, I changed my mind on the eyes too, the felted ones look fine as long as they turn out good. There´s a lot more control over their shape and expression when they´re not something you can buy from the store. =)

Also, bump! New pictures, because I tried to fix her a bit.. I think she looks better now. =)
