I'm 16 years old,my birthday is May 19th.
I have been dancing since I was three.(ballet,tap,jazz,modern,point,}
I used to compete when I was younger until I switched studios.I have no desire to return to competion.
I love all animals although I have a fear of snakes.
I love it when it rains,it to me creates a peaceful atmosphere.It also helps me sleep at night.
Some tell me I am wise for my age.
When it comes to talking or meeting other people I always am friendly and outgoing.
I don't mind crowds,but some days I like to be by-myself.
I always listen to my friends problems and give them advice in a non-judgemental way.
I think of dance as another way of expressing how I feel through movement.
I sketch in my spare time (which as of recent is not much)
When it comes to music I am open to all types ,but on a regular bases it depends on my mood.
I only play wii games,my parents made the descision for me.
I love to read fiction,science fiction,and romance stories.
Even around people I know sometimes I just sit back when they get into conflicts.I rarely will put myself in the middle of an argument unless the topic is something that I truly know about,pr believe in.
I love the beach always have always will.
When it comes to school the only subject I dislike is Spanish.Fortunately this is the last year to take is thank gooness.
I want to become a nurse .
I also fantasize about becoming a dancer.(my dream but it won't come true not in this economy )


My favorite colors are blue,red,purple,
I eat a variety of foods.{And yes what you hear about dancers not eating that isn't true at least not with me}
My favorite movies are ---Labyrinth,Spirited Away,Howl's Moving Castle there are more but I can't think of them at the moment.
I watch,Korean drama's anime
I love cooking and am fair well.
Ever since I was little ,my dad taught me how to fish.And since we have a lake in the backyard its nice.
I have broken only one bone and that was when I was five.
I do have a fear of needles but I hope to conquer it.
I am Scot-Irish ,English and something else.
I love to paint and so sew.
I only write in cursive .
I am loyal to my friends .
I can be a chatter box one minute,and then totally quiet for hours on end.
I love to perform on the stage it's like a second home to me.
I want to get into photography so bad{hopes to get a camera for Xmas}
I love working with little kids,And I am currently assisting at my dance studio with teaching 4and 5 year olds.
I can not drink coffee black I have to put milk,and sugar into it.
I am very interested in the paranormal.
I believe that their is energy all around us.
I dislike animal abusers
I dislike people who go off on others just because he or she did this or that.{what"s the point}
I say reach to the stars alot for some reason
I think don't live in the past but remember it and learn from it.
Every one screws up know and then we are only human.

Haha, well I'm already too old for it I think... I'm 13, and usually for something like dancing you start at a young age like you did. Plus, I'm a bit too chubby for ballet or any other type of dancing XD

But I've been having dreams about me being a ballet dancer.. lol =D They're so weird and random, it's funneh XD This year I've been thinking a lot about ballet and how to get healthier.

It's never to old to start I new this guy who didn't start till he was a senior in high school and know he dances proefessionally in a company.

Beside ballet you might like other things like modern,jazz,tap,but please try and don't pay no mind to your size as long as your healthy that's what counts.

No problem when I was 12 I

No problem when I was 12 I quiet my competion school early in the year 2006 and at that time I was chubby.And actually thanks to my dad I will always struggle with my weight.I lost my weight by swimming and then back in the fall I enrolled in another studio with a healthier body.

It not what others think of you its about what you want to do with yourself.And also if you do decide to try lessons try to take them at different studios for a bit to see which one you like the best,

^^ You make that sound so easy X3 But...It's hard for me when certain people say that I have to- have to- have to loose weight...and saying it in a mean way. It doesn't make me want to loose weight, it just makes me feel bad..But, I believe that I should loose weight. And I want to and don't want to at the same time.

I want to so that way I can be healthier. I don't want to because I'd feel like I'd be doing it just to get rid of the negative comments.

The only sports I'm into are volleyball. But I just don't like sports in general because of the competative-ness...The only other thing is running. Not a track team, but just running and pacing myself. That's what I'm most likely going to do. But I haven't been able to do that during the school year because of... school XD

It wasn't easy my endurence teacher kept sayin one more lap and in my mind I was like yeh no problem just how am I going to walk tomorrow? I understand what you say and those comments are mean but no one but yourself can make you say I'm going to eat healthier or run a mile,Or whatever it is you wanna do.You do what you want so that it is beneficial to yourself.Eating better and exercising makes a persons body better. I'll stop there before I get preachy with it .

The next time you here a comment or you are discouraged think long and hard on why you want to do this and who your doing it for.It won't be easy but in the end its worth it.

But yeah, I see what you're saying. Plus, God says to treat your body like a temple so, that also makes moral sense to remain healthy :3

Well, it's hard to eat healthy for me. I eat certain veggies and fruits, but other than that, my family usually eats fast food. Or chicken strips from Safeway. Something quick. We often don't have the time to prepare a real home-meal food except on the weekends because my mom is home. My grandparents stick with me and my brother during the week and my mom comes home at 8 or 9.

I don't eat a lot of food in general, but it's just the fact of what I'm eating.

Do you have any tips to avoid fast-food and eating healthier?

Well the best thing is to make it ahead of times.

substitute soda with water and drink alot of it.
Apples cheese sticks yogurts are good on the go.
But you want a balance say for example I had a cheesestick I would eat a yogurt to balance it out.
I eat fiber cerial for breakfast sometimes to.Or the night before boil and egg and have some toast with it.
Portion control though is another factor,considering meats.or pasta a full serving is the size of your fist.Eating out I try to stay away from meats especially red meat beacause it's harder for your system to digest.

Theres alot more but a trip to the store is necesarry to help.Prep wise you might have to plan what your having and make or pack it ahead of time.

Thank you for the tips! I will remember this.
My mom has told me that it's also good to eat small portions of food throughout the day and not like three big meals each day. So that your digestive system is always working daily.

...this is off-subject, but I notice that you don't have an icon. Do you want me to make one for you? I can't use my tablet because it's all wacko right now, but I can do somethng else XD If you want, you can tell me the set of your deer and I'll find a way to make one ^U^

That is true my mom also says the same.Any green vegetable is good to eat and the amount on green veggies is something you can be easy with because the trainers on biggest loser say you can eat all the vegetables you want (depending on how they are cooked)

I'm taking piano lessons currently. It's very fun, but it's getting harder XD But it's really fun! I can picture you playing the piano ^U^

Last summer, me and my friend took horsebackriding lessons. It was okay. The horses were extremely stubborn and we both got frustrated Sad But I think it was worth it ^^

Hey, I'd like to ask you a question about dancing! Laughing out loud

I took ballet when I was five, did it for a year, and that was it. But I want to stay active during the summer, this involves one of my utmost goals which is to lose weight.

I wouldn't want to do a group lesson :/
I'm embarrassed...

I'm 13, 5 feet tall (a tad more like 5 "4), and I weigh 135 (been losing weight). Is this okay to start ballet like that? And can you do ballet just as a hobby, but nothing as serious/competitive as an advanced-advanced class? It's not like I want to go to a professional dance school, but I've always loved to dance- even if I'm not good at it at all, as I have not taken any other dance classes besides Zoomba (if you've heard of it xD )

I have been taking classes for just a hobby for a couple years I just choose to be in the performing group there are certain I have to go to dance to be in it. But there are a couple girls who just take certain classes once or twice a week.
It really depends on the studio,my old studio and did competion and for the period that I did not compete I was out of the loop and such.

As for starting out I see no problem with you being that way,I will however warn you that if you go to school that does competion,even if you aren't going in for it.The girls at least that I have experienced in competions and at my old studio feel as if they are more superior than everyone else.

So I would say go ahead but definitly choose where you go carefully I wish I had gone to my current studio years ago .

Ah, I'm used to the superiority, as that attitude is often portrayed in different ways at my school :/ Plus, I know I would assume that from more experienced and advanced dancers. But yeah, thanks for the warning! I know that I'm an extremely sensitive so...I'll have to be prepared for that.

I have gotten two suggestions from people's parents at my school for casual dance studios, so I will check them out to make the right choice to get lessons.

Aww, when does your foot heal fully? Did you break it just recently?

I broke it the last week in

I broke it the last week in January but the first doc I went to didn't treat it correctly the specialist said when I saw him last declared my foot was healling but not quiete yet and even if was healed a month before the recital it would put too much strain to learn 10 or more dances in three weeks.

For now the pain is gone and the next step is therapy.
