The Endless Forest: Calendar Project

We want to publish a calendar for 2009 with The Endless Forest-themed artwork created by the players. We're doing this through Deviant Art. So please go to The Endless Forest Club for specifications and to suggest the pieces you like best. If there's any good works out there (or here) that haven't been posted to Deviant Art, please mention that as well and/or try to get the artist to post them. Deviant Art simply makes it very convenient to publish a calendar.

All proceeds go to the further development of The Endless Forest!

I think its a fabulous idea Jen! It will make people want to do more art, and also spread the news about TEF ;D <3
And i think it would make people feel so proud to see their artwork on a TEF Calendar!

I couldn't buy one. Calendars are really expensive for what they are anyways. I can go to Walgreens and pick one up for a dollar. :/ Plus, it would be a heavily lopsided calendar. Really, would it be a secret as to who would be making it?

Jesus Holy Saint Christ. Calendars are 22.45?! I think there are much better ways out there, and it's not in the form of a super expensive calendar.

I'm sorry, Jen, but it's really expensive for what it is. It makes me cringe. Why can't we just have donations, or even some special event for TEF members to attend that you have to pay to get in?

Also, I see a lot of heavy bias in the art choosing. I know it's going to be heavy bias. I can see if from a mile away. I can tell you three who are going to make it, if not get multiple spots in the calendar.

Even you have to admit that 22.45 is outrageous for a calendar.

It is very kind of you to do this for TEF, as well as put the time to put this all together. But for some one like me who is now in a situation where frivolous spending is a no go, it becomes very hard.
