Personality: Somewhat of a loner, he prefers to be on his own, simply enjoying nature. He will on occasion join groups of other deer. On these occasions he's quite friendly, and very formal toward does. He' something of a ruffian toward other stags, and loves to spar. He's very laid back at heart.

quirks:
- Loves Blueberries, and treats them as a cowboy treats wiskey.
- Is embarassed by his 'flat' face, and always wears a native-american crafted wooden deer mask.
- Keeps a twig stuck in the mouth of his mask, like a cigar or wheat.
- Likes to run when no-one's around.
- Will sit by sleeping fawns when they're alone, to keep them company.
- Detests wolves.
- Avoids large groups of deer, unless they form around him. Not usually the other way around.

Extra notes: Driftwood enjoys making "Blueberry Wiskey". If you see him running back and fourth between a patch of blueberries and the lake, he's making some. =P He does this by scooping water up into large, freshly fallen leaves, proped into a bowl shape with help of a few rocks and twigs, then carefully crushes berries in the leaves holding water with a washed clean hoof - both to avoid contaminating the drink with dirt, avoid tearing the leaf and loosing his work, and to have samplability for others. He will carry full stalks of berries to the lake to do this, to keep the taste its freshest. He may leave some of the stems in the drink for flavoring as well. May sometimes also make Dandilion Wine with the same process.

- His blueberry/dandilion wiskey making spot is the rockey section of the lake near the dragonflies and the fallen tree. Right inside the circle the rocks make. If you see him scratching while in there in combination with the drink action, he's crushing berries in leaves and checking to make sure of the quality. =3 If he nods, or rears up and nods, it means it's done and he's allowing others to sample!


History:
Driftwood was origionally a lone stag living in the far west, often inhabiting prarie and desart lands. He considered himself to be an uprising hero, and often traveled near railroads and in sight of humans. For a time he took joy in getting in the way of thieves and train robbers, either by distracting their horses or upright facing the thieves himself. Similarly, he would sometimes wander into human civilizations at night to rest somewhere safe from wolves and cyoties. He has been known to fight Cyoties and Wolves, to repell them from children and the young of domestic creatures like longhorns and sheep. He eventually came to the Endless Forest under the guidiance of a bald eagle.
