Actualy they are bloody scars. A dominant stag in his early heard tried to kill him, when he was just a few days old.

"He will most deffinantly run away. but if you are patient and gentill and don't make any fast movements. he may be able to be with you.

"Nothing much. The Idols give him advice about the butter flies and birds and other creatures of the forest, mostly kind things. But they tell him that the other deer are bad and that they would hurt him if he gets to close."
