R'Dikjayhl go to be at his first event, this was the Gathering of Small Animals. The forest had a lot of small animals running around and/or getting shapeshift spells. Then Auriel came along and we had a party with stars, plants growing in circles, shapeshifting into minideer, candles and dancing! ^^


R'Dik also got to experience his first night and night+rain. He was thrilled at the dark Forest full of sounds he had not yet heard in the Forest. The scenery was really beautiful too.


At the Ruins I discovered this strange phenomenon. I saw many deer had candles so I went to investigate if I could find any. I saw this one deer get them from the Playground, but I couldn't see any candles. I went to the Ruins and saw one flame. No candle, just the flame. As I circled around it I found that from some viewpoints it didn't show while from others it showed. O__o


Gah the pics are all blurry because they are so small now. Oh well.

I got back from the wedding 8:30PM yesterday and it seems that I missed the first Abio since I have been here. Well there's always next year so it's not the end of the world.

I've had some problems with the spelldata thingie. I have a folder where I have the copy of the spelldata.cgr and I tried copying it from the folder to the place where the real thing was, but I ended up losing my set. So it seems that I've to avoid water and logging out if I want to keep my set... Since getting the pelt is so much trouble, not the antlers or mask, but the pelt.


Thank you for helping me getting the pelt I wanted, it took whole morning before someone understood what I wanted/did it long enough. Though you got the right pelt at first spell.

My deer finally grew up, and now I am to give him his name. I consulted my friends and got advice from Terabetha, Custard, faunet, squeegie and shiori in this (because I'm just so stupid and indecisive). Finally I decided to pick the name R'Dikjayhl, or in short R'Dik.

Thank you everyone, you gave me many nice names and inspired me to think of names that I couldn't have otherwise come up with. I counted the few votes and R'Dik was the winner though I have no idea how to pronounce it and it's hard to remember in whole.

I've still to come up a nice set for him.

I also encountered the mist for the first time yesterday, was it? Also the intensivity of it and the fact that the pictos were near impossible to see had a great impact.


Deermuda with bats was a bit eerie, though i find the bats cute in everyother place. ^^'

Argh! Next Wednesday I've been playing TEF for 30 days, so my deer grows up soon yet I have no name for him. Since his picto looks like "RJ" I thought of having those letters in his name too. So far I've come up with four possible names, and I was hoping to get some help from you guys.

If any of these names are already in use please inform me. Also I'd like it if you would tell me which of them sounds the best. I'll be the one to make the final decision, but I'd like to hear what people think.

This was just a random thing I did yesterday, inspired by Fledermaus's vector deer tutorial.
Yeah, I know, the anatomy sucks and it has a generic pose and it looks very weird. Especially the hindlegs... It took me whole day to make and that is the best I could come up with. Well not the whole day, I did other stuff too every now and then but still. Those cracks in the hoofs were the hardest part.

Everytime I post a reply to anywhere, I get this message afterwards: "warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at blaa blaa blaa)"
All my replies are sent, and they show likt thay should. But is there a way to make the warning stop? Or am I doing something wrong?

It seems that most of the deer here have a name. Not all, but most. Mine does not either. I suck at thinking about names. But when I registered the picto I didn't think it would be a picto for my deer character, I though of it as a picto for me as I wander around the Forest as a deer. But the more I roam around in the Forest the more it feels like I've a character there, and the feelings of it are not mine. Sure, my deer laughs when I find something amusing and it becomes sad when it has to go to sleep as I unwillingly have to leave my pc to do something else.

But. I am thinking of names for my deer, since day after day it starts to feel more and more of a character. (Last nite I had a dream where my named my deer Xoworght or something ) Maybe my deer has a naming seremony the day it becomes stag. Which would be in 19 days or so. I still have a lot of time to think about whether to name him or not.

Then this one. A mystery deer, who was in the Forest last Thursday. (14 of May)

He just stood there, doing nothing for hours by the Oak. But if I went furher away from him, he kept calling me.

The picto didn't fade out like it does when normally bellowing, so this was a bit creepy. When I got back I could see him stop bellowing and then he just stood there idling again.

And it wasn't just me, others found their way to him. Not just fawns either. Peculiar
