Vhalek: Of Moon and Star

CSS and images to come! Still under construction.
(If ooc in game, it's usually for purposes such as egging on spellcasting...or seeing a group of dancing deer, which I just CANNOT resist)

"come, child- under the shadow of the stars, you will see truth."

Name: Vhalek
Relevant imagery: Nightshade, eventide, stillness, greys/blacks/deep jewel tones, softness, water, ghostly, semi-nocturnal.
Gender: Male
Adjectives: Listener, nurturing, unforgiving, stalwart, gentle, stern, realist, devout, wise, wistful, self-serving, slow-moving.
Build: Tall, lithe, 29

Age: unknown
Voice: Baritone

Picto: the Hook

In Forest: Key antlers, Orca mask, Magpie pelt
Alignment: Neutral Good

Health: Fair
Mood: Inquisitive, bolder than usual, curious
Sociability: Fair- due to curiosity, but not for extensive periods of time. Prefers to observe with extended companionship.

-As nature passes through phases of rebirth, growth, wilt, death, and decay, Vhalek personifies the whisper between wilting and the inevitable end. A nagging, inward sadness clings onto his outlook in life- not grief or despair, but the constant, nihilistic reminder that all beautiful things end, and all things are temporary...but then there is also a sense of peace within him, through the knowledge that there is rebirth and and renewal in balance. For this reason, he enjoys fawns and their innocent, vibrant playfulness, and aims to keep their eyes bright and their hearts light for as long as possible, before the weight of life sets in.

-Life, in essence, is floating through streams of flickering consciousness. Vhalek does not push for, or actively avoid communication and companionship- instead, he lets things happen organically, as is the course of nature- and at the discretion of other parties. If he comes across a friendly face, he will act in return.

No more lurking! Hello, after 7 years.

I opened my eyes within the endless forest 7 years ago, as a 16 year old.
Despite finding other interests all the time, I kept coming back once every while, as there is just something perpetually magnetic about the woods. Logging back in recently after a standstill of a couple of years due to starting postgrad, the familiar sights made me smile- and seeing the colourful, vibrant contribution of the community had given me motivation to finally introduce myself.

So happy to be here! Smiling

For now, I bear the orca mask, key antlers, and magpie body, although that may change, as I'd like to revamp my look. Will upload my pictogram/avatar in a bit!
