As Twist went about her daily tasks, she kept watch over the other creatures of the forest. She had only ever concentrated on collecting the lost faeries to help them get home. Most of the fae she was sent to collect hid themselves within acorns so it was easy to take the form of a squirrel and they would not question her collecting. She believed this was the best plan to stay out of the way. However, she had recently come into a situation she thought would be necessary to intervine in and learned how accepting these creatures seemed to be. Despite her chosen form, the creatures she had helped before not only accepted her, but became her friends.
As she observed the forest, she notice that this was a common pattern among the forest. Each deer was unique. They were all very different from each other, yet they accepted each other without question. Twist believed this was something to be admired. If only every species was this accepting.
Twist decided to take a break from her current task and merely observed the forest from atop a tree branch. It made her happy to look out at the forest and see the interactions between the other beings. Perhaps she could even make more friends? She was sceptical. They seemed accepting of differences, but she was not always a 'good' person.
