Long Way Home

He wasn't a young deer no more. Time had molded his simple frame into that of a well worn traveler. He never settled, always moving, always trying to find his way back to the only place he knew as home.

The forest never beckoned to him. It left no markers of it's existence on the gray world he had stepped into. No secret doors, no hidden stairwells, no paths lined with golden flowers by the Gods.

And this was his task. Simple enough as it was. He alone would have to find the forest. If he could convince the magic that slept beyond the veils of reason then his hooves might once again grace the ageless grass he yearned for. He would never know what he did to please them. He would never understand why he left. He knew of home. He knew of signs and symbols. He knew of masked deer and frolicking fawns. Flower crowns and whispering reeds.

One day he found his long way home.

He found The Endless Forest.

Day two, No worrie I'm notgonna write every day.

A story told by Garnock.......

I awoke to the forest. It was peaceful like always, and I knew this was it's magic. Getting to my feet, doing my best not to stumble, I yarned hard. My back neck was stiff due to my tossing and turning from the nightmare I just endured.

I was running, or trying to at least. My feet just wouldn't give me speed. I tried to play in this dream, but was stopped when everything froze. No, Only I froze. I couldn't walk, couldn't talk. I was paralyzed all over. This nice looking deer came up to me, he/she greeted me, but I couldn't due the same. I was so embarrassed, so scared Of what they would think. It ended their.

Walking around I found some tree mushroom. They soon turned into a yummy breakfast before I was on my merry way. Of course I got a drink at the pound also. I ran, I walked, I trotted along. I was in search of a playmate. Not soon after starting my stroll I came across some more mushrooms, oh how could I resist. They tasted so good. Looking to my left, out of the corner of my eye this huge blessed dear stood. Just standing their doing nothing. At first I hesitated. I must admit he scared the ba-jeebers out of me. Was he waiting for someone. Maybe he was waiting for a pal to show.......or maybe looking for a playmate like me.

I trotted over, and at first I was ignored, but that soon changed rather quickly. I don't know why but he started rearing up and bucking at me. So in self defense I reared too. We exchange hollow roars and bellows. This deer was not be ing friendly at all. So after I had enough of this I ran, but the white deer gave chase. He chased me far, but he had a white coat, something he didn't want to lose. So I tired to make it to the pond, but he stopped chasing me before we got there. We bellowed a bit more. Then something odd happened............

First day

Well here I am, first day on the forum/community site. It's not my first day as a deer though. I've been playing in the forest off and on for the past four months and I really love this screen-saver. The whole place is just so relaxing. I mostly come on just when I need to find a quite place by the ruins or the playgorund. So about me, well I can not say much on that topic. My deer is pretty much me so yeah I'll talk about him.

Deer: Garnock

Personality: He's a self aware fellow, always concerned of what others think about him. It's not uncommon that even though he will feel uncomfortable, Garnock will do what he can to fit in without anyone seeing somethings wrong. Of course it can still be obvious. His actions will slow, thinking over every single movement he dose. A priority it not to be an outcast. Sometimes in his will to please others he will offend someone accidentally or do the wrong thing. Garn then, like most others, will feel really stupid and try to make it up. Most of the time making it worse. He also will try to act majestic but always ending up making a fool of himself.

When frustrated or angry he will just hang out at one of his favorite places sorting out his brain. Garn dose that a lot when he is not trying to please. One problem he has is fawns. He always feel odd around them, like he'll crush then if he falls, or maybe its the size difference. He isn't good with size differences.

Masks, Pelt, Antlers: At the moment Garnock doesn't have a favorite anything.

Favorite Place/s: Pond (Weeping Statue and under the Willows)

Sign: I love the pictogram for my stag. To me it looks like a little sailor boat =3

So thats it for now. No more to say no more to write. Back to the forest with me.
