The world was calm when she woke. The fog of the early morning had settled and all that was left of her parents were bloody marks in the ground. Slightly disoriented all the sounds in the murky forest she gets up from her nest and simply bolts. There is no time, and all the young fawn does is run and run until her legs nearly give out from under her. She slips into a small cove of collapsed rocks and laps at the condensation of the formations.

She's given herself the name Doe, simply because that's what people call her when she passes. A little doe. Or Fawn. She likes Doe better. Learning while spying on the other deer to eat grass and drink from the lake or the stream like her parents had done she learns enough on how to survive though she can't quite digest the grass.
08/19/13-
While grazing another deer sizes her up and while she doesn't quite understand perseveres them to be nice so she just smiles. Until the deer pummels her and scrapes its hooves and kicks her in the belly and attempting to kick her int the chest. Managing to get away she hides, but she's bleeding. She recovers while chewing on what little grass she has in the cove she found before.
09/13/13-
Having outgrown the tiny cove she's taken to wandering, still tiny and malnourished but she's managed so far. She is mostly afraid to go near other fawns and deer, but she's become lonely, and seeks out other loners though quickly runs away.
