The demoness took a while to digest all of these words that she appeared to be saddened by; torn, scarred ears lowering against her bleach white skull. She seemed to be speachless, having no idea what to say. It wasn't shock, though, she was just saddened to have it confirmed that he isn't returning, unless needed.
"Wherever you are.. I hope you're happy."
She herself wasn't sure if her words were meant to be be sarcastic, simply because it felt like she had lost a close friend, but then she briefly smiled before speaking again, almost repeating the same words but in a kinder manner, even though she knew he's somewhere else and probably can't hear her words.

It had been a while since he heard from his old friend. He missed him greatly but there was something burning inside him, making him feel severely frustrated and although he knew he could not hear him, he had much to say.
"You left us. You left us when you knew we needed you..." A tear ran down the stag's skull as he looked to the ground, eyes narrowed. "I waited...for so long, just to see you, but you never came. You never came." His own words were upsetting him. The mere thought of Reaper never coming back, unless needed was enough to sadden his mood. "Friends are supposed to stick together, they need each other, that's what friends are for." More tears continued to roll down his skull as he spoke. He didn't understand how Reaper could just leave them after witnessing that their friendship was already being damaged by his disappearance. He couldn't help but feel angry at the fact Reaper left without warning and that he rarely ever set foot in the forest, not even to see his friends. He had never reacted well to others leaving, it made him feel unwanted and disliked, especially when they never even said goodbye.
He had finally managed to control his tears but he knew they wouldn't stay away for long. He just longed for his friend to return and wished that somehow, Reaper would be able to hear his words. Slowly, he opened his eyes wider and took a deep breath, standing up straight as he did before speaking again, with a happier tone to his voice.
"I just want you to know that you're still one of my best friends and that...I miss you and will always need you."
(Major fail. I'm really annoyed at how bad it's come out and how it keeps changing from one thing to another. There's probably a lot of mistakes in it since I didn't want to read its failness to check. He also would have said more but I think it's bad and long enough as it is B|)

Hidden within the dark shadows of the tree's a figure stood tall with haunched shoulders. All expression on the shadows face were hidden behind a mask made of bone, and it was hard to tell if it was a living creature at all if it wasn't for the fact that one bright violet orb lit up luminously in the darkness.
In that eye there was life and the emotion of longing as it looked down on the two figures of Kody and Umay. He knew he had let them down.. let them both down. He didn't want to see there faces saddened.
Even though he could feel it.
It was better like this..
Hiding in the darkness simply watching and not interfering. It was safer for them this way. His chest ached though he resisted the urge to run down to them. He would only see them when they would need him. Though all this time he's even been failing at merely standing by there side.
He was slowly turning into a stranger.. and soon they would forget about him.
It's for the best..for everyone.
So much had been going on
While passing the Ruins, a certain spot caught his attention; the spot between the many larger gravestones. For moments he stood there, staring. Both eyes that were hidden behind his hair had a soft, saddened gaze. His head lowered as he let out a quiet sigh before heading slowly over to the spot. Memories flooded back as he got closer. All those times they had spent together at that spot, the many times he'd see his friend sitting in that very place, it was so long ago now. Water built up in his eyes as he collapsed on the spot, crying. He was broken. He had little left, the past few months had taken it's toll on Kody. There was only one positive thing he had left, but it still didn't stop all the negative things from getting to him. Through stumbled words, he managed to speak.
"I miss you...so much. I-I just w-wish you would come back. I need y-you."
The crying, along with the many other happenings, had tired him out. Soon he ended up drifting off to sleep on the very spot where he and Reaper rested on many occasions. Nothing and no one would move him.
