I've known it for sometime now. Or suspected at least. And I'm sure it's obvious to almost everyone else who knows me.
I have feelings for another. Whether it's love or not, I don't know. Truthfully, I've never really known love. My first relationship didn't end well, with my mate just disappearing one day so many months ago...
But this is different.
It feels comforting.
It feels...
...
..right.
It probably is love and I'm just too......something..to notice it.
Vulnerable's not the right word, so..
Would that be denial? Heh. It probably is.
But I'm getting off-topic.
The one I have feelings for...
When I'm with her, it's like I wasn't happy before she appeared. Or not as happy as I could be. We're so much alike, it's almost scary sometimes. That unending energy, the want to run with no purpose, to just be silly for the fun of it. Or even just sitting when we can't think of anything else to do anymore, maybe stopping to munch on some berries before spotting something interesting in the distance.
I even remember when we first met. When the Lord of Darkness, the Big Zombie Deer's fog filled the air. We met for a few moments in that awkward "first meeting" way. I barely knew who you were then, and when we parted, only wondered if I'd see you again, so perhaps we could become friends.
But we met again some time later, and I grew to like you more and more.
Every time I spend with you is just perfect.
And when you're not around, I find myself thinking of you often, wondering how you are, or if you're thinking of me too.
I think the feeling is mutual. I hope it is at least..
