Looking hurt for just a second, the stag was soon brought to smile none the less, taking the role of the suffering hero, another of his favourites.
"It's quite alright, my dear..." Sighing, he raised his head to look at the buds on the trees, some of them having already bloomed into beautiful, white flowers... There was something endlessly melancholic about his expression... Something real... At least it looked real. You could never be sure with this stag...

Tilting his head, Raleigh only smiled.
"My dear lady, I have already said I will not do anything to hurt you..." He said, lowering his head as well, nibbling a few blades of grass, though they weren't his favourite... He preferred leaves and bark, but these were only his own tastes.
Her scent reaching his nose, he could not help but move closer... sniff her gently...
Ah, the smell of a doe... to him it was a toxin and a drug all at the same time...
