I am posting this video as a Belated Halloween treat to those of TEF. It's not as Graphic as he Says however if you are not a fan of a Horror Game. Do not Click to READ MORE button.
Amnesia... is possibly one of the SCARIEST things I've watched. Oh yes, I've heard of it... I know of the monsters in it... and let's just say this game TOPS... Resident Evil and Silent Hill both with things. The music gets your heart pumping [it did for me most certainly] and everything in the game will send a chill down your spin.
I must say... Part 1 is the VERY Subtle bit of this game... if you move onto Part 2 [There's going to be a link towards the end of this video to click] well that's where the real fun begins. This first one is 32 minutes... the second is 28 Minutes.
Anyway, Enjoy. Warnings are mainly Swearing, OH GOD OH FUCKING GOD this game will make you shit your pants...
well I do well with horror games, thankfully. none of them really scare me, but this? the distortion and heartbeats ARE FREAKING ME OUT. ALMOST ON PART 2. AAAH ;_;
I've no idea why I'm watching this, I'm so bad with horror things as soon as he even mentioned The Ring I was keeping an eye on my tv making sure the girl didn't crawl out. Why did I even say that? I should just shut up and stop scaring myself. I sound like such a wimp XD
LMAO! Like I said, this first part isn't the true freaky part. It lures you into it so to say, when he moved onto Part 2 with the Water... that's when I started going OH JESUS! XD
Thankfully he didn't get to the Actual 'monster' of the game... Gods the monster from this game, though repeated a lot... each situation makes it more scary.
I think the reason that this game in itself is far more freaky than say Silent Hill or Resident Evil is that you have literally NO means to protect yourself. Throwing things sure will stop them and you can build a baracade at points but other than that you are faced with the Flight Response of GET ME THE FUCK OUT!

The scariest stuff?! oh come on it was a funny game(i finished it 3 times for every ending) and it wasn't really really scary (it was fun trying to kill a monster with a book or a rock XD)

It might not be scary to you, and it does get less scary each time one plays it. Yeah Silent Hill, etc. are Scary. I've seen Silent Hill LP's and Walkthroughs, and Silent Hill in my own opinion doesn't scare me as much as this one would freak you out.
There's a sense of dread with it and 'fear' so to say. You have nothing to protect yourself at all throughout the game [while Silent Hill you have something to do so with] and that adds to the feeling of dread to it. Not being able to protect yourself is what makes this creepier, and the music as well as the entire atmosphere of the game makes it creepier.
Sure, there are likely games out there that are worse than this. With monster sicker than this [BY THE GODS! The Brood Mother from Dragon Age and Giygas from Earthbound] but with how it is, this is scary. In it's own little way, it's scary

I like the concept behind the Sanity meter in the game |D Choose between staying in the light or going in the dark and risk going insane with hallucinations and distortions.

I actually sat down and watched it while chatting with me friend XD my eyes were glued waiting for something to jump out XD the first part was amusing with random stuff happening but the second part with the water made me die of laughter XD
