A Green Man mask. I've always thought it was a cool symbol and there's a lot of cool interpretations. I don't know why I never considered this earlier, but a mask like that would be great to have for the forest. Maybe even a whole set based around it. Really I think having Celtic-inspired stuff in the forest would be amazing.
HECK YES.
The Green Man is a really interesting Celtic creature. As a Celt myself I would adore having some stuff inspired by Celtic myths in the Forest! Manannán mac Lir might be an interesting spirit to interpret too - he was supposed to be a personification of the sea itself, which would give opportunity for Celtic-inspired and sea-inspired sets.
Honestly, I hadn't even thought about Celtic sets. This is a lovely idea!
Yep! Have you ever been told the foam on the waves is a herd of horses? I'd imagine the pelt almost disguises the deer as water itself, maybe with kelp antlers or something? Celtic knotwork is also a good idea, you can't go far wrong with it ;; Perhaps the knots could double up as tree branches/leaves/vines?
