So yeah. I am planning on writing a story about the past of my deer which lived out of the Endless Forest in a country similar to how it was in the Native American's past. I call them Shawnee Deer, after a tribe of the Natives'.
But I don't want to write something, put all my writer's talent into it and then only get 2, 3 comments from my friends on here or something because nobody else is interested, really not. This may sound selfish, but you know how it can "disillusion" you if you don't get the approval you'd like for your work? c.x
So I had thought on how to avoid getting less interest in my story and I got in mind that some of you sometimes ask others if they'd like their characters to be in the story which is a neat thing to fix my problem... but... I do not think any TEF character would fit in my Shawnee story O.o
So... um... the next idea I had in mind was, that I could ask you to help me with my writing and design new characters for it? 8D Would anyone like this idea? Or do you have own ideas?
Tell me plz. <3 I am open for everything and I'd really like to get some more interests in my story. o: So please help me! It would be highly appreciated. <3

But I am also asking for other ideas how to get people around here more interested in reading my story, because I am not sure if many would try and help me with this method. o:
Q sounds great! ;D But if it's a character you have already found a past and stuff and everything for, it may not concur in what I would do with him when I write my story...

Yes, that's what I meant. That would be easier than using Q though. I only mentioned him because he has some sort of Native American background... but I don't think the rest of his past would fit him. But I could always alter it a bit, I'm creative like that.
But ideas to get people interested? Hmm... I'm not good at that, my stories don't get much comments either, but they always get more if other people's characters are involved. In my first story, only Raku's Skokey was added, because our stories were connected. But yeah, it's an easy way to get a story popular ^^;
Although I notice that some stories with many characters are a bit messy... Like you can see the characters were 'forced' in, if you get what I mean.
The best way, in my opinion, is to write something original and exciting! Combining a few major elements like humor, romance and a bit of thriller. That way it attracts many attention, I think. It's never predictable if a story is succesful or not.. o:

I'd love to have new characters actually as well. I would be afraid of mixing up your Q too much. xD Even if your detailed profile would help a lot. c:
Yeah, that's what I am afraid of: no attention. Okay, maybe you could say "You don't write for getting fans" or something. But since I am not the ... "popularst" xD one around here I want to avoid feeling unhappy because I don't get any comments for the chapters I'll post here...
So the involving-other-people's-characters was a good idea, yes. But sure I get what you mean with this "messy" thing. But actually I don't have too much worries about it. Firstly, I am not sure if sooo many people will join the character-thingy for my story. ^^ And secondly, I haven't decided on any other than the main characters for my story so I think I really could need many others, no matter how many! It's just... the perfect situation to ask for character ideas, you know? And I think I could handle them all.
Haha, the last point is a thing that depends on how good my stories will come out. ^^ I cannot say if people will like what I post, so I'll just try to get all those typos in which you mentioned (which I am even almost doing, lol). So you're right. Thanks for all your help!
@Verdalas: Thanks! ;D But yeah, I see your point. But like I wrote in the answer to Avani, I didn't plan too much for the other characters I will use in my story so I think I can handle other ideas. If/When I start this "design your own characters for my story" thingy and there will be some characters which really won't fit in my story, I'll re-design them as well. (But of course I'll first ask the "creator" if he/she agrees. :>) I have planned this idea quite well, I just need some "members" to follow it... o:
