You should wander the forest disconnected, it drastically improves frame rate! Then you should be able to turn up nature detail..cause really, you're missing out.

It really does capture the beauty and mystery of the forest! I'll try disconnecting and doing what you said, even though when I try to disconnect it takes 15 minutes
Update: Had a nice stroll through The Forest and came up with some screen shots. It's been a while, but I still enjoy making these, it's a relaxing exercise to get nice shots without any editing (no photoshop here!).
