Was actually helped. The mighty Wood Beast decided to take
the infant in. Fed and kept warm within the colossal.

Growing weaker.
Death draws closer each day.
Makes less noise now.

Within the wood, by a place of worship,
something blind to the world and its fate stirs.
With every soul that passes, it coos and gives
out pathetic whimpers of infant needs, squirming
to its best ability to reach the passing warmth of
body heat. Very little take notice for this creature
lays nestled and hidden to obvious eyes within the
foliage that lean against the base of the God Stones.
With the great effort of squirming, very little
progress is made other than burned energy and a
wobbling head to the sky, searching for the
constant disappearing warmth.
The chirping and coos continue and lay silent for a
while before abrupt pathetic calls of need sound from
such a little body as it calls out. Little does this small
being know, it was left for dead. For the reasons
one will never be certain. Either out of disgust,
out of a mistake, out of selfishness, or out of
possibly what they would grow to become. Yet this
little life clung on so desperately to a world that sought
to cast it aside.
A few corvids come by every now and again, perching
upon to top of the statues, peering down as if waiting.
Never do they offer to do ill, but merely watch the powerless
struggle about. The likelihood of survival slim.
Oh god protect the smol!!!
Blossom stopped by and tried to give baby some warmth. She groomed them a little bit too, tried to keep 'em secure between her paws

Don’t write down roleplays but this is entirely up to you if you allow it. My character would place your character in one of the openings in their body where a good old size abandoned nest is at. They would have warm lights floating around and a small enough wood appendage that would feed them a substance that brings life into them, milk substitute if you would. They will hand them over to a caretaker once one is found.

Even though the helpless creature knew nothing of what was happening or who or why for a moment they felt contact, they could only be thankful in their own little way with a belly full and a warm safe space to recover.
