On track for TEF II beta 1

I have suspended all my other activities to dedicate as much time as possible to the remake of The Endless Forst in Unreal Engine during this time of Lent. I'm happy to say that I have been able to stick to the schedule, after an initial few days of instant burnout that made me realize that I need to adapt my way of working to my age. This means that The Endless Forest Second Decade is now complete! Of course it will take several more months to iron out all the bugs. But I'm already making plans for expanding the game in a new Phase 4. Next week is dedicated to testing and building the first beta release to be published on Easter, when backers of the remake will receive a link to download the application.

Okay wow, so I don't know

Okay wow, so I don't know where to start except that something got in my brain this evening to find this game again and after 12 LONG YEARS I remembered my original username/password. I am beyond thrilled to see that this community is still thriving and the news of a re-release/update to this brings unfathomable joy to my heart.

Its very awesome to hear that

Its very awesome to hear that some good progression has been made! The remake is looking pretty lovely so far mind the bugs and other things to be worked on. Could suggest some expansion of the graphical settings in case some players may have issues with performance. For me it just runs rather fast and makes the GPU work harder. Frame limiter/vsync options could be my suggestion for a possible thing in the future. But I was happy to back the remake and im sure all of us are looking forward to whats in store, good luck guys!

Seconding what Mozdog said. Me and some other players I know have been having this issue where the alpha would cause our laptops to overheat too much, which makes it impossible to have the game running for a long time.
So some optimization would be nice, a frame limiter or something.

Hi! I'm new here, I found out about Endless Forest maybe 3 days ago at max, and after researching a bit I gotta say I'm really excited for the Second Decade!
