They... a tribute

They never asked for anything other than to dance and laugh. Have you ever noticed that?

They don't ask to look special or different. The only accessory they ever wear is flowers in their antlers.

They may not understand what we're saying to them, but in the end, they always smile and nod their head.

They nuzzle anyone and everyone without fear of mates, pride, or antlers.

They are not concerned with the latest gossip or news spreading around.

They love the Forest without question, and it loves them back.

And when they leave, it is bittersweet, because we may never know if they will return, or if we'll ever get to meet them again, but we enjoy their company and treasure the memories they make for us.

....Nameless...

Maybe this week Quad will hide his picto and run around as a nameless. I'm curious as to how different it will be, I know a few of my friends have done this before just to see how people react to them.

Still, we may never know why they remain nameless, but they're always playing and dedicated to the Forest, and for that I am proud to call each and every one of them Quad's friend.

I'm not sure they remain nameless -- most of them are probably brief passing glances, some of them settle down and most, probably, do not. Still... They're explorers entering into a foreign nation, to see if the climate suits them, vacationers of sorts...

I actually had the cool

I actually had the cool experience of (at least I think so) running into a nameless twice. They greeted me in exactly the same manner, and took me back to where we'd met the first time. It was one of the sweetest memories I have of TEF. I like to think they still visit from time to time, or maybe made an account and are now enjoying The Community as well <3

I know this is going to come

I know this is going to come out very dumb but...

Whenever I'm playing, I almost see Nameless (and sometimes fawns) as actual deer instead of people playing them. I guess I trick myself into thinking they're just deer in the Forest instead of someone behind a computer screen controlling them.

I don't know if that makes sense...

Quad, that makes complete sense. I do the same thing. It's like they are... ambience deer in a way. Except they interact with us. I'm not sure how to explain it but, I know what you mean. c:

I remember not being able to

I remember not being able to play with my account for a while. I was practically "cursed" to play as a nameless... But it was no curse afterall, actually. Because after trying to gain some other guys' attention, I finally got success and had an amazing time with them. <3
I even remember how sad they were when I made clear that I had to go... they couldn't stop doing the 'sad' emotion.

That was really touching, consider that we didn't even play for too long... It was so really nice <3
